The Art of Falling

in and out of love.

When you see them, it's like the whole world goes quiet

it's as if everyone on the planet doesn't exist.

When you see them, your heart stops beating

and your lungs give up on breathing.

When your falling in love, in the moment you are not falling necessarily

it's more like you've already fallen, you just stopped right above the ground

you're no longer falling your just floating.

And if you think about it hard enough the art of falling in and out of love is like parachuting,

you know when you're about jump out of the plane your stomach just drops

and you ask yourself what happens if I jump, but the instructor guy is like "it's totally

safe."

So you jump, and then that question starts to manifest in the back of your mind

"what if I decide not to pull the cord?" "what if I don't stop falling"

and then you get to that moment where you have to decide

and when you do, you're not scared anymore.

Then you make the decision and all your worries are over and your weightless

and when your up there you love the view so much you just wanna stay in that spot.

That's when you realize that it's not gonna last forever...

Then you start going down a lot faster, and you can't catch your breath

you feel like your heart is gonna burst into flames, and the ground starts getting closer and

closer.

And there is nothing you can do about it, so you just let it happen, you don't struggle, you

just give in, and then you land wrong and the pain is so excruciating that you just lay there

and feel what you are supposed to feel. Even when you feel so broken over that fall you stop

and you try to fix yourself and put the pieces back together.

Then you realize that

this

is

the

art

of

falling.
