Part II

You go back to school the next morning, like you always do. You're quite happy to go back to class, but also a little anxious to see Hyunjin again. He's like your first friend. You remember you start with two hours of supervised homework and then two hours of chemistry and sigh. This day promises to be long...

You're not next to Hyunjin for chemistry class, since you're in the labs, and you're a little bored like always. Every once in a while you give him shy little glances but you blush every time because he's always looking at you too. Why is he staring like that? The two hours of class go by too slowly, you almost fell asleep already twice. You are really happy when the class ends and it's time for lunch. Once in the refectory, you take your tray full of food and look for a free table.

- Y/N ! yells a voice behind your back.

You turn around, confused, and see Hyunjin moving quickly towards you. He looks shy and embarrassed.

- Uh, canIeatwithyou ? He stammers incomprehensibly.

Luckily for him, you understand what he wanted to say and your face lights up with a big smile.

- Sure, come on !

Hyunjin smile too and follow you to a free table. You sit down and start eating. The silence is a bit awkward, you avoid each other's gaze.

- So... why didn't you go eat with your friends ? You finally ask, to break the silence.

You look at the gang of Hyunjin's friends, who were looking at him with strange smiles. They're all the most popular boys in high school, they intimidate you a little. Especially Seo Changbin, the boy with buff arms.

- Uhhh, 'cause it hurt me to see you eating alone everyday. I mean- you deserve friends, you're a really nice and pretty girl- Gosh, what am I saying... he says shyly, slapping his forehead.

Wow, did the Hwang Hyunjin just pay you a compliment ??? The earth is not right, it's impossible. You blush a lot and hide your face in your hands in embarrassment.

- T- thank you Hyunjin. You know, not less than a month ago I hated you, and now we're eating together. Isn't it funny ? You're laughing shyly.

- What ?! You hated me ?! What did I do to make you hate me ? I'm such an amazing person ! He says, being dramatic again.

This time, this drama llama makes you burst into laughter. What's going on in your head ? You jokingly slap his arm and he pretends to be in a lot of pain. The mood relaxes immediately afterwards and you finish lunch by chatting happily. 

- I think my friends are waiting for me, I gotta go.

- Oh- okay. Thank you for eating with me, Hyunjin, it was cool, you thanks him smilling.

- No problems, it was a pleasure, he replies with a little wink and a big smile.

You bow your head amicably to him and he does the same. He gets up from the table and walks towards the dining hall exit, waving at you.

- So, how was it ? Asks Lee Felix to Hyunjin as soon as he comes out of the dining hall.

- Hey, we just ate together, nothing more !

- Come on, you two were laughing all the time, you can give us some details ! Says Jisung with a smirk on his face.

- She's a silly shy and uninteresting idiot, she's annoying and not even funny ! Hyunjin says sarcastically to shut them up.
