Day Ten
Title: Gingerbread Houses
Summary: Lloyd and Nya decorate gingerbread houses

Lloyd tears the box open, allowing the gingerbread house pieces and decorations to fall onto the table. There's a quiet groan at the doorway. Looking up, Nya is stood in the doorway, wearing one of Lloyd's hoodies. She rubs her left eye tiredly and raises her other arm out, stretching it. Lloyd smiles.

"Hey angel."

"Hi," Nya murmurs tiredly, still half asleep.

Lloyd walks over and pecks her on the lips, making her eyes widen in surprise. Lloyd chuckles and pulls away, wandering back to the table.

"I was gonna decorate this gingerbread house...wanna help?"

Nya nods rapidly and stands next to him, grabbing an icing bag.

After ten minutes of building the base and lining the roof and window sills with icing, Lloyd and Nya open the bags of decorations. Lloyd filters through the coloured chocolate balls and pulls out the green and cyan ones. Nya pulls out the dark pink, dark purple and dark blue ones. Lloyd lines the roof with the green and cyan balls whereas Nya lines the window sills with the pink, purple and dark blue ones. For the path, they use red, orange, yellow, lime, green, cyan, blue, pink, purple, black and white balls on either side.

Once they finish, Lloyd pulls out his phone and takes a picture of it. Nya spots the bag on the floor and pulls out the second gingerbread house set.

"Wanna tease my brother?"

Lloyd smirks and takes the box from her, tearing it open.

"This should keep him off our backs for the next few days."
