Naturally, I wasn't too thrilled about what was happening tonight.
Don't get me wrong, doing what I did with Claude was different and it felt good. I was just...shocked that it felt that good.
I didn't want to get too involved in the story, I just want to save Athanasia and that's it. I'm not trying to get attached to these people, I know better than to get my feeling hurt.
I delicately poked at my food, the luxurious meal crumbling as I prodded at it. Felix could tell I was in a doze, he was staring as I daydreamed, looking out the window. "Are you feeling alright, Y/N?" Felix asked, making my eyes snap open.
"Huh? Oh shit, my food's cold." I grumbled, placing my fork down, Felix raised a brow at my lack of response; he had finished his food.
"You've hardly touched it, maybe you should be in bed." Felix suggested with a caring expression, I smiled but nodded my head. "Nah, I've just had some wine and now I'm drifting off." I chuckled, rubbing the back of my head.
"Wine? Aren't you a bit young to be drinking?" Felix asked with a wondrous expression, I furrowed my brows. I didn't need Felix calling me a child too.
"Not a kid, I can handle my drink too." I replied, Felix just chuckled. "I'll be the judge of that, when you're old enough to go out for drinks." Felix joked, I grumbled and crossed my arms.
"Yeah, we can have a drinking contest and I'll kick your ass." I challenged, narrowing my eyes and smirking smugly, Felix gave a wide grin.
"Alright, let's hope your dainty little body can handle it." Felix teased and I scoffed at his joke, punching his shoulder light-heartedly. "Dainty? Alright you're asking for it!" I lunged at him and we both burst into laughter.
He was fun to joke with, he had a real calming aura around him. I looked at the clock and it read 9 pm, I puffed out my cheeks.
"I've gotta go, yikes." I brushed off my clothes and tidied my messy hair, Felix's grin faded and he looked disheartened. "Oh..already?" Felix questioned.
"Don't miss me too much, tomato head." I laughed, walking through the door and leaving my plate in the sink.
