Epilogue

Morgana was found almost a year later after long and tiresome search, when the king Uther had lost a hope to ever see his ward alive. She came out of the woods, disheveled and dirty, and told a story about some bandits, who had held her captive.

It is known, that after the girl's return many times Merlin tried to talk to her and explain, why he couldn't have come to her that night. But Morgana didn't want to listen to him, to talk to him or even to stay alone with him and actually behaved, as if they hardly knew each other. Finally Merlin had to give up and accept, that he had lost his beloved...

From Morgana Pendragon's diary: «So, if you have read this story till the end, you know that I wasn't always evil. But when I returned to Camelot, there wasn't any light and warmth in my heart. I didn't want to come back, because it was too hard to be here, among the people, who had betrayed me, but my dear sister Morgauze convinced me that it was necessary for our plan. Besides, Uther would never have stopped searching for me.

And I decided to stay close to my enemies. So, it would be easier to avenge them all.

First, the king Uther. As it turned out, the life of this glorious monarch is full of dark secrets! He doesn't only hate people like me, but he had been lying me for all his life! I found out that I am his daughter, but he had been hiding this carefully from everyone. When I told him that I know everything and begged to avow me before all Camelot, he refused to do it. he renounced me! Now I have no doubts that he really deserves death for what he'd done.

Second, Arthur, my dearest brother. He deprived me of my only love. He was the reason my beloved Merlin didn't run away with me. Besides, he will get the throne of Camelot after Uther's death, because he is a legal heir. He is, not me.

And finally Merlin. The one that I loved so much that I had forgotten everything for his sake. I would have given my life for him. But he betrayed me. He left me. He lied to me. The love for him became the most terrible punishment for me. And even in my hatred I go on loving him...

They all will pay for what they had done to me!..»
