It was summer of 1998, almost time for your first year of high school to start. You and Josuke have been friends for a long time, and you have been having sleepovers with him all summer long. Though, you both mostly played street fighter, you enjoyed it.
"(Y/N)?" Josuke noticed you were staring at him, you couldn't help it! He was normally in his tank top and shorts around you, but this time he was only shirtless. "Y-Yeah?" "Why are you stuttering?" "N-nothin-" "(Y/N) it's because I'm shirtless, isn't it?" "WHAT NO!-" "(y/n), relax I was joking... unless?) "JOSUKE-" you lightly hit his arm. After this eventually after all the play fighting you were sleepy. He turned it on some cheesy cartoon and you fell asleep.
Later you woke up to an odd weight on you. You realized you had fallen asleep on the couch, and josuke fell asleep laying across the top of your body. You were being crushed by this handsome-NO (y/n) don't think like that you don't like him- or no you do but- OH JESUS- ok maybe a little bit still, this masculine muscular man was crushing you. Who cares though, it's josuke. He is a big teddy bear.
"(Y/n), (Y/N)?" He nudged you awake.
Josuke POV
Finally she woke up, ok omg she looks so cute. Wait i actually think this? Eh it's true I really have liked her. I wonder if she likes me
"Josuke? Why are you staring at me now eh?" SHE SAW ME PLAY IT COOL JOSUKE! "Oh sorry I got in a daze." I totally got out of that one. "Yeahhhhh totally ok. Fine I'll leave you alone on it but isn't tomorrow our first day of school?" "Yes, unfortunately. But we will be together and that will mean you will be safe with me around"
Your POV
Ok I can't help but think the way he looked as he said that was probably one of the cutest things I've ever seen. "I'm glad I have you as my friend dummy" "HEY ILL MAKE YOU THINK DUMM-" you hug him. Yes you hugged him. He started to blush but that's okay, you wanted to show that you love your big dummy.
