I want to quickly say that this is NOT my story. This is my friends story and she wants to publish her story on my account. It's a transformers story and she loves Sam. So yeah. Here's the story:
Elektra.
(Outfit: http://data.whicdn.com/images/35546928/p32_large.jpg)I sat with my father's army friends on the base, blissfully unaware of what was about to happen. I threw my head back and laughed at something my best friend, and one of my fathers soldiers, Ryan said and glanced at the sky, as I did so, I saw a helicopter on the horizon. For the moment, I thought nothing of it. We had all just got here, to this base. I had come with my father, William Lennox but everyone called him by his last name, Will or captain. I continued to laugh around with Ryan and the team, but as the helicopter got closer, my laughter faded as I looked at the markings on the side. I didn't recognize it. I may only be 17 but I knew that that helicopter in particular was not one of helicopters allowed on this base. I stood up and began glancing around, trying to find my fathers best friend, Rob. "Rob!" I shouted as I saw him and began running towards him.
As soon as Rob turned to see me, he grinned and held his arms out for a hug. Rob was like an uncle to me and we did that sort of thing a lot but right now, it wasn't the time. I shook my head as I got to him and pointed straight up to the helicopter that was slowly getting closer. "That's not one of ours, is it?" I asked as we both looked up, Rob's smile faded and he shook his head before running inside the base. A few seconds later, two of our planes took off and head into the sky. I knew immediately that this was not a good sign. The helicopter had obviously been asked to turn around and leave, but hadn't. The planes had taken off to either escort the helicopter away from the base, or if the unidentified aircraft didn't comply, they would have to use deadly force. Not just anyone could land here, it was an army base.
I glanced up at the sky, the sun was setting now and the helicopter was not compying and was getting closer. Rob then came back out of the building and stood next to me as we watched the helicopter come closer and closer, I frowned. Something about all of this didn't feel right at all. I glanced at the markings on the side again and frowned. Ryan appeared next to myself and Rob and shook his head, crossing his arms. "This can't be real.." He said, I glanced up at him. "What do you mean?" I asked, rather confused. "That helicopter was shot down a couple of months back in Afghanistan. My friend was in that helicopter." He explained, not even looking away from the helicopter. All the other soldiers on the base began to look confused as they all noticed it. The helicopter then landed and immediately, cars and tanks swarmed in around the helicopter. Ryan took my hand and pulled me back a little, so that I was behind Rob and stood at Ryan's side. Suddenly, my father appeared by my side.
"I just spoke to your mother and sister." He told me with a smile. I smiled up at him. "How are they?" I asked, Dad grinned. "They're good. Apparently she has my laugh." Dad said, smiling. He then looked ahead of us at the situation and frowned. "What's going on?" He asked, putting his hand on my shoulder as I shrugged. "I don't know. Some idiot just landed here even thought he's been told not to." I explained as we all continued to look on. But then Dad, Rob and Ryan were all called to arm themselves and surround the helicopter as well, so they left me. Dad kissed my forehead before running off with his men. I knew what to do in this serious situation, stay back, stay out of the way and stay hidden. This was a serious situation, they wouldn't just call upon my Dad and his team for nothing but I just couldn't understand how it would be a serious situation. There could only be a couple of people in one helicopter and there would be my father and his team, so the people in helicopter would be outnumbered. Therefore, there wouldn't be much of a fight, if any fight at all. Nevertheless, I did as I had been taught. I walked inside the nearest building and ducked down behind a window, but obviously, I peeked out the window.
It was dark now, but I could still make everything out as all the base' floodlights lit up the place. I glanced to the helicopter and studied it before turning my attention to the pilot. My eyes narrowed as I thought I saw the man..flicker. As if he were a hologram or something. I shrugged it off, I hadn't slept properly in a while. I was probably just seeing things. I glanced up as the lights began to flicker and I was beginning to get more and more scared. This whole situation didn't feel right at all. The helicopter's propellers then stopped abruptly and for a second, I felt like everything would be okay. But then, the impossible happened. The helicopter began transforming. "Holy shit.." I breathed. My father and his team didn't wait to find out what it was transforming into and began shooting immediately. The lights continued to flicker and the sound of the guns became louder, causing me to cover my ears with my hands to block out some of the sounds. The bullets seemed to have no effect on the transformer and soon, there was a robot man stood in the middle of the army base, turning it's arms into guns, it began shooting the men rapidly. I screamed and took cover as a tank was blown up. I hit the floor as windows all around me smashed into a millions pieces, landing on top of me and around me.
"Elektra!" I heard Ryan's voice shout as he ran into the building I was in. I screamed again as I heard more glass smashing and crashing to the ground. I heard running footsteps and someone grabbed my arm, pulling me to my feet and away from the window, into the corner of the room. It was Ryan. "Are you okay?" He shouted over the sound of the guns outside. I managed to nod and he smiled slightly, putting his gun to the side as he quickly put a bulletproof vest of me and then handed me a gun. Then, he put hands hands on my shoulders. "Get to the other side of the base and get a far away as you can. Find somewhere to hide and stay there, we'll come for you." He told me. Fear took hold of me and I shook my head, tears filling my eyes as I remembered that my father was out there. "I can't leave my Dad!" I shouted, Ryan shook his head. "You have to go! Don't shoot unless you have to! Understand?" He shouted, I nodded slightly. I would try to be brave as freaking out in a situation like this would not help at all. He smiled slightly again and grabbed my hand, leading me out the back way of the building and pointed me in a direction. "RUN!" He shouted. I did as I was told and sprinted off in the direction Ryan had told me to go. I screamed as a building next to be the blown up by the robot but continued to run. I felt tears stream down my cheeks as I thought of my father but I couldn't stop running.
"Elektra!" Someone shouted. I stopped running abruptly and glanced around. My arm was quickly grabbed by my father and he pulled me along with him as he ran, Rob, Ryan and some boy right behind him. We began running towards a long row of tanks. "I thought you said to run away?!" I shouted to Ryan, he shook his head. "Just stay with your Dad! We can't out run it." He explained as we ran. Dad then quickly pushed me and the boy between two tanks that were quite close together as Dad, Ryan, Rob and some of his men stood beside the tanks, their guns at the ready and pointed straight at the robot. I looked out at everything happening and gasped as I saw a soldier fall over, right in the path of the robot. I grabbed my gun and fired at the robot, getting his attention away from the solider who quickly scrambled away but now unfortunately, it knew where we were. I froze in horror as the robot turned to face us. I screamed and Dad grabbed my hand as we all began running as far away from the base as we could, running into the desert.
