🏳️‍🌈~MILA'S POV~🏳️‍🌈

~THE NEXT MORNING~

Mila yawned, sitting up from her place on the floor. She looked over at Robin, who was laying next to her, and smiled. They were currently snoring softly. She looked up at Cole who was sleeping on the bed.

Mila placed a hand on Robins's shoulder and shook them awake.

"Huuhh? What's that?" they said, drowsily half opening their eyes.

"Morning," Mila said. She smiled at Robin who then proceeded to roll back over.

"Nooooo," they whined. "I'm too tiiiiiired."

"C'mon, get up!"

"Fiiiine," they said. "But I'm not happy about it!"

Mila shushed them and pointed at Cole who was still sleeping. Robin grinned evilly and stood up, as Mila was whisper-yelling at them to stop.

Robin tapped Cole on the face multiple times and he opened his eyes drearily. "Hnnggg- oh hi Robin," he said, closing his eyes again.

Robin hesitated and tapped him again. "We gotta go to school. Trust me, I didn't wanna get up either."

"Okay." Cole sighed and rolled out of bed. He looked so tired and Mila didn't blame him. Rejection sucked the life out of every soul. She knew from experience.

Robin stared at Cole. "Why are you so tired? How much sleep did you get last night?"

"Barely any," Cole mumbled studying the ground. The sight of him melted a little more of Mila's heart.

Suddenly Robin hugged him. "You'll be okay."

"You want some water?" Mila asked, and Robin looked over at her, giggling wildly.

Cole snorted. "You're ridiculous!"

"I try."

Robin put their hand on Mila's shoulder and sighed overdramatically. "I have trained you well young Padawan."

Mila jokingly smacked their hand off her shoulder and smirked. Cole laughed. Mila was glad to see he was feeling better.

They quickly got ready and set off to school.

🏳️‍🌈~PEYTON'S POV~🏳️‍🌈

Peyton's alarm sounded. He opened his eyes, not ready to face another day. He couldn't believe he'd been so stupid. His anger issues always had to ruin every relationship he had. Even his relationship with his parents.

He dressed in a Star Wars t-shirt and jeans, not putting as much effort into his outfit as he normally did.

Today would be just great. He had to sit next to Cole in first-period science. He thought about cutting class, then, realizing that somebody would find out about it, decided against it.

He sighed, walking out of his bedroom into the kitchen where his parents were sitting at the kitchen table, chatting and drinking coffee.

Peyton reached into the pantry and grabbed a Poptart for breakfast. He ate it as he walked out of the house to his car. He started the engine and put on his sad playlist while speeding to school. Luckily, there were no police officers out to get him.

He pulled up to the school, parked in his assigned spot, and walked towards the school.

Here we go, he thought.
