Darzay regained his consciousness, letting out a loud groan. The pain was the only thing he felt in his body. His skin had grown pale and the life in his eyes was draining slowly. Strangely to him, the only area he didn't feel pain in was his left arm, and he had not yet noticed that he was sitting in a pool of his own blood.

“Damn,” he said weakly, “that bear’s bite is terrifyingly painful. Almost everything hurts except for my--” Darzay paused in the middle of his sentence when he finally noticed that his left arm was missing, and viewed it as though it were an insect bite. “You can never have nice things around bears. Now, what am I supposed to put on this?” Darzay raised his head up to see the village and he could see Captain Reko struggling against the out of control bear, but behind the bear was something that caught Darzay's eyes. Captain Reko's swords, planted into the dirt. Seeing this gave Darzay an idea, for he is one who is a firm believer in getting revenge, and he planned to get it by killing the bear. He leaned back against the tree and forced himself to slide up against the tree to get to his feet. When he was up to his feet, he began to feel woozy from the amount of blood that he lost, but he wouldn’t let that keep him from getting to Captain Reko’s swords.

Captain Reko found himself running low on stamina, and couldn’t control the fast rate of his panting. He was now too exhausted to even move his hands, let alone dodge another one of Agnus' wild swings, but he would continue to push himself in this tough situation. Agnus walked towards Captain Reko, taking heavy steps that made the ground tremble beneath his paws. Once Captain Reko caught his breath, he wiped the sweat off of his forehead and growled.

“I’d hate to do this to you, Agnus, but if it means turning you back to normal, then I know exactly what needs to happen.” When Agnus got close enough to Captain Reko, he stopped walking, looking down at him with a ferocious growl. Captain Reko stared death directly in its red, glowing eyes, showing no signs of backing down, even when Agnus had everything over him: strength, speed, size, defense, and aggression, most of all. Despite knowing all of that, it did not stop Captain Reko from serving Agnus a swift, hard roundhouse kick to the face. The large bear grunted angrily, stumbling back a bit and he shook his head to shake off Captain Reko’s kick. That one kick drove him beyond the boundaries of anger and he stood up on his hind legs, letting out a loud, angry roar.

“Reko,” Darzay shouted as loud as he could. Captain Reko looked past Agnus, where he saw Darzay holding both of his swords. Agnus faced Darzay with fire in his eyes. He roared again and began running towards him. A sense of urgency hit Captain Reko, so he quickly chased after Agnus. Before Agnus could get halfway to reaching Darzay, Captain Reko jumped onto Agnus' back and then leaped into the air. Darzay saw an opportunity, and he seized it by launching one of the swords towards Captain Reko. Captain Reko caught the swords with ease and as he was plummeting down to the ground, he yelled out Agnus' name, getting the bear’s attention, and drove his sword through Agnus' head. Blood splattered out of his head, and he collapsed to the ground next to Captain Reko. His fur color returned to its normal, brown color and his eyes were now closed. Captain Reko, took his sword out of the poor bear’s head and sighed sympathetically.

“I’m sorry, Agnus,” he said low enough to where Agnus could hear him if he could. “I did what I had to do.” In the background, Captain Reko could hear Darzay chuckling like he was satisfied with something, and Captain Reko knew exactly what that something was and that angered him.

“You know,” Captain Reko said loud enough to where Darzay could hear him, “I just killed my brother AGAIN, just to save YOUR life. The least you could do is say thank you.”

“Oh, I’m sorry, but did I or did I not just help you save MY life? I’m no omega, and you’re definitely not gonna treat me like I am one.” Captain Reko growled and walked over to Darzay angrily, grabbing him by his shirt.
