Ryth dashed across the grounds of the Roswaal mansion with a silent grace. The blades of grass beneath his feet didn't move in the slightest as his feet floated across them, save for the brief draft of air that flew across his line of travel. Once reaching the gate, he leaped over it and skidded to a stop on the dirt path.

His elven ears perked up slightly when a suspicious ruffling of the leaves in the surrounding bushes caught his attention. He swiveled around to survey his surroundings but came up short with no further trace. This left him satisfied with his own safety, so he set off back down the trail.

He was leaping across the gravel with each stride, and no care, other than his mind running wild while trying to imagine the trial, bothered him. Right before he landed on the ground after one of his steps, the sound of a blade cut through the air, aiming straight for his head. He jerked his body around in midair to intercept the weapon. It narrowly missed his head, an he put his arm back to grab the handle before it left his range.

The blade luckily ended up in his grasp, and when giving a closer look, he recognized who attacked him. No other used weapons such as the one he caught.

'Elsa...' He scanned the surrounding brush once more, and squinted, seeing a figure of a curvy woman with thick, curly, black hair along her neck and over shoulder.

"So... we meet again, Ryth." Elsa brandished two more blades, while licking her lips seductively. Her target pulled his weapon and sent a powerful stream of mana into it, lighting it up, and illuminating the nighttime atmosphere around them. It let out an intimidating hum from the surging energy that made up it's blade.

"And you think you can kill me? I don't search all throughout heaven and hell to find strong opponents for nothing, Elsa. I bested you in our previous duel, and I've grown even more since then. What makes you think I couldn't do the same again?" He jested Elsa, while spinning the glowing blade around his body with great skill as though he hadn't a single worry of a mishap with his own skill. They both prepared for a fight, shifting into their signature battle stance. Ryth kept his left foot in front of the opposite, with his blade in both hands, pointed upwards. Elsa held her blades in an underhanded grip, while kneeling down to kick off from the ground.

A sharp gust of wind flurried past them, adding a small boost of adrenaline to the already ecstatic fighter. His hair ruffled underneath the black cloak, while the cloth itself was coming close to flowing off of his head entirely.

Although he'd never lost to her, Ryth was well aware of the fighting prowess Elsa possessed. She'd been known within the underworld of society as a reliable fighter, who, while priced high for jobs, would almost always get it done.

Well... Almost always.

Elsa kicked herself forward towards Ryth, swinging a sideways hook with her left hand. Anticipating the strike, as well as the following attack, he curled backwards, then backflipped to the right to dodge the downward slash coming his direction. He slashed his purple sabre across his front view, predicting Elsa's previous movement. His strike barely connected with it's target. It burned through the top layers of her exposed skin, and tore up minor bits and pieces of her clothing. Nevertheless, it's searing pain that it inflicted on her skin forced her to recoil, and she doubled over slightly to bear it.

"Of course... that magical weapon is just as annoying... as the tales tell..." She leaped forth once more to send another attack towards the swordsman. Both of her arms reeled back in a split second, then cut forward in a scissor cut. Ryth pulled up his sword immediately to block the strike. His sword held the two daggers in place, however he began to get pushed back. His boots dug into the ground to hold himself in place, but it was a futile effort. He felt as the dirt and gravel beneath him began to give out.
