The Life Changing Moment

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! Went the alarm clock on drays side. "Good morning Dray, what time is it?" Draco reached out his hand and pressed the stop button on his alarm. "It's 6:15am, let's have 10 more minutes".

He turned over to face me, put his arms around me and just laid there for a few more minutes before getting up. I smiled at him then headed to the kitchen to make too coffee's whilst Dray put the log fire on. When I came back into the now toasty warm room he kissed me softly and said "thanks scar" then took his cup from me.

I took a sip from my warm cup of coffee then placed it down onto my bedside table and said "I can't believe that we're doing this today? The speech is today, I'm so nerves." Dray looked deep into my eyes and replied with "scar I'll do the speech, you can come in at any time if you want. Ok babe."

I felt a little better about today in the sense that I will not longer have to worry about messing up the peach as for Dray said I didn't have to say one if I didn't want to. He knew that I suck at speaches for teenagers and so I passionately kissed him before we got dressed.

I grabbed my pocket watch from my side table popping it into my shirt pocket as I always do, besides it being my dads I always have it on me for luck. We took one last sip from our coffee's then put them in the kitchen sink.

Dray asked me when we were gonna do the speech and I told him that we had to go to dumbledore's office first after our 2nd lesson. Once we were ready we headed down the stairs to put our shoes and capes on then said our goodbyes walking in the opposite direction from each other.

I headed to the great hall and looked around for my mates. I sat at the breakfast table next too and opposite my friends. I whispered to Hermione "today's the day. Hope it goes alright." Then she replied "good luck Harry." Ron asked why she said good luck and I had to think quick on my feet so I said I have an exam today and it's on herbolagy which is my worst subject.

I looked behind me too see Draco sitting at the slitherin table then quickly turned back so that no one noticed. Our first lesson of the day was defence against the dark arts followed by the tea leaf reading with that quirky teacher who has large glasses and long curly hair.

I sat there tapping my pencil onto the desk thinking about later on today. Miss ..... noticed that I was worried about something but didn't know what so she said "Harry could you see me after class".

As soon as class finished I followed miss ..... to her office and asked "you wanted to see me miss." We talked about all the eventful things that have happened since I first started here at Hogwarts and I pretend that was on my mind. She tried to give me a hug then said "oh Harry, what you have gone through must be hard to deal with. Remember if you need to talk about it my doors always open."

I thanked miss ..... for her kindness then walked out and headed towards Dumbledores office. As soon as I got to the stairs I looked around to check that the coast was clear then walked up the stairs and knocked on the door.

Dumbledore: come in Harry Potter

Draco: hey babe, you ok?

Harry: I've talked it out with Hermione and I think I'm ready for what ever life throws at us. (Takes a deep breath in 2...3...4 and out 2...3...4)

Draco: so um sir, how exactly were you thinking of doing this. I mean when are we gonna tell the entire school.

Dumbledore: I believe it is best done when everyone is gathered together in the great hall. I've made sure that no one can leave or enter Hogwarts for 24 hours so that will give you too time to get Snape to keep this from mr.malfoy and Voldemort.

Harry: um.....ok sir. (Takes Draco's hand in my to calm me)

Draco: (walks to to the sofa to sit down and breath) it's ok, you know that hagrid will be there for support so It'll be ok scar.
