HatredThis is not a unique story. In fact, it's all too common.
It takes place in 2019, but not a lot has changed since then.
This book contains graphic language, depictions of sexual assault, and racism. It's not meant to be an in-depth study of our society, but rather a hit it and quit it observation of American life. This is a story I had to get it off my chest. I might not be right about everything, but fuck it, I did my best to be honest. I stand by every word. If I've offended you, I'm sorry, but then again, you're probably not the sort of person who would like me, and we wouldn't be friends.
All Spanish dialogue is written in English because I don't speak Spanish, and a lot of you don't either.
For the most part, all grammatical errors are on purpose, especially when it comes to text message conversations between teenagers.
In 2018 there were 418 victims of mass shootings and 65,550 migrants children detained by ICE. This book is for them.
Black lives matter, and if you can't get down with that, then fuck you. You might as well burn this book right now because you're not going to like what I have to say. Hate is stupid, and you should come to terms with that.
I've tried to make this as enjoyable as a book like this can be. I hope it's not too much of a buzz kill.
