HAZEL
It was a normal Monday morning, I woke by the alarm which had been ringing for almost 30 minutes.
"Wake up Hazel! You are going to be late for school." Mom shouted from the kitchen."Wait mom.... Just give me five minutes." I said while I lazily got up from my bed while dragging my legs towards the bathroom which were trying their best to pursue me to go back to my sweet sleep.
........
Soon I ran downstairs wearing a pair of high waist black jeans and a maroon-white striped colored crop sweater.
Grabbing a sandwich from my plate, I bid goodbye to my parents.
Exiting through the porch of our house, my eyes fell on the car that was parked across the street, with a figure sitting inside it.
I immediately knew who it was and so, I ran to the other side of the street, opened the passenger side's door of the car and slid inside. I always go to school with Sienna, she is my best friend.
"Sorry, you know how lazy I am." I apologised and I bet she was rolling her eyes.
She started driving before giving me an annoyed glare and saying, "I'll kill you if we are late for class."
In about fifteen minutes, we reached school.
Entering the corridor which was hustling and bustling with the crowd, we made our way to our lockers not before I thanked God for being in time.
We grabbed our books from our lockers and walked to our class which was math. As soon as Mr. Williams, our math teacher, entered the class, he announced that we were going to have a surprise test.
"Oh god, please no." I whispered into Seinna's ears, who was sitting on the bench in front of me. And she slightly nodded knowing that I wasn't great in math.
It felt like the math period was going on forever. Somehow, I survived the period acting as if I wasn't being bothered by the test results. I know, I know that eight out of ten is okay but not for me. Mom says that you should aim for full marks if you want to be successful in life.
After math when Sienna and I walked towards our lockers, a bunch of boys appeared out of nowhere and walked away from in front of us making us abruptly stop and almost making me fall.
"Whoa." I exclaimed while managing to balance.
"Are you alright?" Sienna asked in concern.
"Yeah, I guess." I said while I eyed the group's leader who was no other than THE GREAT Ryan Tyler .
He is like the most popular guy of our school. The girls in our school are always busy ogling, drooling and gossiping about him.
And I am not going to say anything to him, they would make me shut my mouth with money. Well, I can't blame them about being rich because they were born with a golden spoon put deep into their throat.
But just leave it they would always be that arrogant and we can't do anything about it, can we?
.........
After school, when I reached home, I was exhausted so I threw my bag in the corner of the living room and jumped onto the couch. I was so lazy that instead of completing my homework, I started scrolling down movies on Netflix. Just when I chose a movie, the doorbell rang. I thought it was the new boots that I had ordered online, so I ran towards the door. I got confused after opening the door as I saw no one and just when I was about to close the door, I saw a letter on my doormat. When I picked up the letter, I realized....
