atlas returned to the bunker tired and cold, you could go so far as to say you could even feel the frost. Everyone had laid down in their beds fast asleep but Leo was the only one awake. "What are you doing man?" Leo said. Atlas's face looked as if he was in agony. He took off his armor and his clothes, only leaving on his shorts. He pointed to his chest and limped to the chair to his right. Almost his entire chest had frozen over from his own powers, his own powers caused his pain, a drug. His skin was pale and seemed to show his bones and blood veins. As Leo looked closer Atlas signaled for him to stop. "I don't know how to control this power anymore, just look around me," he said in a raspy voice. Leo backed up to the wall, his face horrified by what he saw. Ice had slowly froze the wall, the ground, the chair, and even himself once again. "Don't wake her up. She is the type to care for everything." He said. Slow quiet coughs came from his mouth, Leo looked up from his bed every time only to find he is still freezing over. He stopped coughing and Leo never looked up again.
"when will you learn." A voice said. Atlas looked up and was on his home world, the cold and frost of his world made the hair on his rm rise. The cold and desolate planet was speaking to him, he had lost the connection with his world so much that he didn't recognize it. "You have found your pride i take it?" It said again. The longer he didn't speak the worse his body froze. "Or have you forgotten where you got that power?" It said. Atlas closed his eyes and moved his hand up to try to use his power, when he opened his eyes nothing was formed. "I have lost control of my power." He got warmer. "And i feel as if i need to access that power again." He got to his normal heat level. "There is a place you can go. Head to the genesis engine." The engine the voice spoke of was the only place where Atlas could mend his mind. The place where he could come to terms with the darkness in his heart.
"What in h3ll is going on!" Ana yelled. Ana stomped over to the frozen body of Atlas. The energy from his body was circulating through the ice and were like veins. "Please, stay back. We cant let him die." He said. The other men woke up from their sleep.
Atlas walked through a mist of souls and death. Wherever he was it was retribution for his mind. The grasp of the darkness on his soul reaches deep within. His body started to ache in pain. He limped to the light that was in front of him, his eyes slowly starting to close. He was reaching his death, and was going to start his rebirth. "Why did he help me? WHY!" He yelled. His legs broke down and he slammed on the floor, his face was in deep pain and emotional agony. Eternal damnation of the soul. From the start of time this world was doomed, what else shall they face? He looked up and the gate of light was still there, to his surprise is was was more opened than before. A figure appeared behind the gate, he put out his hand to him. Atlas slowly slithered as close as he could until he could get the weight of darkness off of him. He slowly stood up and he brushed off the darkness on him. The stasis powers he had were far left behind in death, he became a new man. "Welcome to salvation, your highness." The man bowed down to Atlas's left. He looked back at the darkness. "No more will i be bound by a drug," he was a wise man. The light was blinding but was warm."I will show you to the genesis engine. Right this way."
"light, life. All these things part of the fabric of the universe. But who has the truth to their hands? Who has what they need? The light is not good, nor is it evil. It only is a side to a coin, what side will you chose? You have to chose, even if its the bad side."
