"Come on man! Don't this to me!"

An amused Gloria watched as Logan tried to smack the guy's head but he got too late.

He was pulled by his wrist and at the last second Logan left her wrist or else she would have been toppled on top of him.

Like how he was sprawled on the couch at an awkward angle.

She hid her laugh by clapping a hand on her mouth.

Should she go make a beeline and go up in front or should she just watch them from the shadows?

Gloria felt like a creep . .

Logan tried to kick him but he grabbed his sneaker clad feet.

"Dafuck ?! We have a guest!" Logan said loudly trying not to laugh and pull his leg free . Gloria had a feeling he wasn't even trying , he was goofing around.

"Yeah? Is she the one you gonna hand your virginity to?" The guy asked , his voice sounding deep and mature.

Logan plonked his head on the couch , now Gloria couldn't even see him from where she was standing at. . and then she saw him raising a hand up in the air .

He was pointing at the tattooed guy.

"Gloria this is my brother , J.D. and Jay this is . .her."

She noticed how he didn't say friend or anything else. Now that was kinda confusing because . . didn't he consider her his friend?

At least their relationship had a name.

Friends.

At least she knew what not to expect from him but now. .he was really making her feel lost.

She could see the guy standing up as if surprised that Logan would bring anyone home . .and then he turned around .

At her.

He definitely was build. A mature version of Logan . He lacked the careless attitude of his little brother -and damn. .he had tattoos everywhere except his face. She could see the black ink on his neck, down his arms and the back of his hands.

Wearing a wife beater , he definitely looked like a no nonsense person. .and he was smiling at her?

"You're beautiful ." He said abruptly, she didn't even register his compliment as she tried to collect herself and be presentable.

"Thanks. You too."

Crap!

His face lit up with humor.

Aware of what she just said, she went all over . .like a scramble egg

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! I mean you're not beautiful-that sounds bad. You're beautiful. .I mean-" She felt like she should just stop talking.

And she did stop. Talking .

Just when she wanted to leave a lasting impression. .

Meanwhile Logan had shrugged off his trenchcoat and was off the couch. . watching the exchange happening between them.

J.D glanced at Logan, grinning a bit.

"I like her. "

"That's why she is here ." Logan winked

They were talking like she wasn't here listening to every word.

And then with widened eyes she saw J.D's muscular frame coming towards her. His muscles rippling at every step, Gloria swallowed and tried not to get intimidated or worse . . embarrass herself.
