"renjunnie, try this."

renjun opened the door to the café owned by him and his boyfriends, only to have a cupcake shoved into his mouth within seconds of stepping foot inside. jaemin giggled and watched the older, eagerly waiting for a reaction.

renjun held the remainer of the cupcake in his hand and nodded, savoring the taste. "it's good nana, is it a new flavor?"

jaemin's famous bright smile appeared and he nodded, taking renjun's hand to drag him behind the counter. "i wanted to add a new flavor, it's red velvet with salted caramel filling."

renjun nodded in response and peered around the café, not surprised by how busy it was. college had officially started a little over a month ago and the café had quickly become popular due to the heavenly taste of their food and drinks.

well, that and they had very cute workers.

"you're here early." renjun jumped as someone pecked his cheek from behind him but relaxed upon seeing jeno's eye smile.

"professor moon ended class earlier, chenle's class ended early too and he has professor bae. there's rumors that there's something going on between the two teachers." renjun told his boyfriends as he ate what was left of jaemin's cupcake. the two nodded, not particularly interested in the teacher's relationship but more interested in how soothing the older's voice was.

their conversation quickly ended as more people poured into the café seeing as the café was located close to some of the local colleges and their classes had just ended. jeno gave both of his boyfriends a quick peck on the lips, leaving both of them blushing, before heading back to the counter and taking people's orders with his charming smile.

jaemin shook his head with a smile before he turned back to the drink station to prepare the orders. renjun watched the blue haired boy work swiftly before speaking up.

"do you guys need any help?"

jaemin looked at the chinese boy before looking around and giggling when he spotted what he was looking for.

"i think shotaro needs some help, thanks junie." renjun followed jaemin's eyes to a flustered shotaro. from the looks of it, it seemed like shotaro had bumped into another boy and was struggling to balance all the cups and plates in his hands as the two boys tried to keep everything from falling.

with a laugh, renjun made his way over. "need some help, taro?"

shotaro and the unknown boy looked at renjun with wide eyes and an eager shake of their heads was enough for renjun to quickly take some of the dishes from shotaro. the three boys headed behind the counter into the kitchen, the unknown boy asking for permission before doing so, and dropped the dishes on to the counter with a sigh.

"thank you for the help renjun, and uh-"

"oh, my name is sungchan." the boy, now known as sungchan, bowed and the two boys smiled at the action.

"nice to meet you, sungchan. thank you for helping, can i get you a drink? it's on me." renjun smiled at the boy as the three made their way back into the café.

"oh it's okay, your boss probably wouldn't be happy with that." sungchan politely declined and the two boys let out a laugh.

"it's okay, me and my boyfriends are the owners." renjun pointed at his boyfriends working behind the counter and tensed slightly, forgetting that not everyone is accepting to two boys being in a relationship, let alone three.

"that's so sweet, you remind me of my friends jeonghan, seungcheol and joshua." renjun let out a sigh of relief as sungchan's smile never faltered and instead only grew. the name seungcheol felt familiar to the chinese boy, but he brushed it off.

the three boys spoke for a couple more minutes before the shop got too busy and sungchan let the two get back to doing their jobs. the rest of the day went by smoothly with no fussy customers or rebellious teenagers and before they knew it, it was time to close.

renjun walked over to his boyfriends with a smile and threw his arms around them, exhausted from his day at college and working at the café. jeno and jaemin looked at each other with a smile as they hugged the shorter boy back, silently fanboying over how cute their boyfriend is.

"come on, let's get going." jeno turned off the lights and locked the door before grabbing both of his boyfriend's hands as they walked down the dimly lit street, all three of them content and unable to get rid of the smile on their face.
