My mind is fuzzy and I can't think straight as I throw the doors to Shawn's trunk open and grab the bloodied man. He looks exhausted as he lies on the floor. I grab him by the collar and force him to stand up and walk towards the doors of the police station.
The station is fairly busy and people give us startled looks as me and Shawn carry this man into the station.
I walk into the lobby and spot the nearest officer.

"Woah sir, what happened here?" He questions as he looks at the injured man.

"This man attacked my girlfriend. He's been targeting her for months now," I explain.

The man nods.

"Why is he all bloody though?" The officer asks.

Before I can speak and say something that could get me in trouble Shawn cuts me off.

"My friend here got into a little fight when he was trying to get this man off his girlfriend," Shawn tells him as the officer takes the man from my tight grip and puts handcuffs on him.
I take a couple deep breaths to calm myself as the officer begins to carry him off to an interrogation room.

"Please have a seat, I'll be back," The officer tells us as he carries the man down the hall.

Me and Shawn take a seat and wait as patiently as possible.
My feet are tapping frantically as I try to calm my rage.

"Hey," Shawn whispers.

I look over at him and he gives me a soft smile.

"It's going to be okay. They have him now," Shawn assures me as he places a hand on my shoulder.

I nod and take a couple more deep breaths.
My eyes return back to Shawn's and I go to say something but before I can get the words out the police officer returns.

"What was your name sir?" The officer asks as he stares down at me.

"Mick Thomson," I tell him simply as he grabs out a clipboard.

I watch as he scribbles something down.

"Follow me, we have a couple questions to ask you," his voice is dry as he speaks to me, it's as if he's bored by the situation.

"We?" I question as I look around.

Every other officer seems occupied.

"Yes. Follow me," he says as he motions for me to follow behind him.

I stand up and look down at Shawn. He shrugs and I sigh as I follow the short officer down the hall.
The hall is lined with windows and doors that belong to many rooms.

"May I ask where we're going?" I question as the officer takes me down another hall and stops in front of the door.

He looks up at me with a blank expression.

"Once you enter the room there will be two officers waiting to ask you questions about the incident. Anything you say will be recorded and documented as evidence. Feel free to call your lawyer if you must," the officer rambles as he opens the door and ushers me inside.

I sigh as I step through the doors into the small room. There's one table with chairs on either side and a glass window on one of the walls.

"Mr. Thomson, please have a seat," One of the officers says as he points to a chair on the opposite side of the table from him.

I nod and sit down. I look across the table and notice the two officers looking through their small stack of notes.

"Mr. Thomson, can you explain the incident from beginning to end?" The female officer questions as he sets her clipboard down on the table and pulls out a pen.
