My Angel And My Devil:

I have an angel on my left,

And a devil on my right.

The angel may be tough,

But she loses the fight.

The devil tells me wrong,

The angel tells me right.

All I need to know is,

Who will win tonight?

The angel tells me stop,

The devil tells me go.

Will I listen to my angel and stay,

Or will the devil win and will I go?

Tears stream down my face,

A knife in my hand.

Will my life bloom,

Or will it be banned?

Death is inevitable,

It can be hard.

It can be now,

Or will I get another birthday card?

All I want is to be loved,

To be free.

Will the devil keep yelling,

Or will it leave me be?

The devil yells at the angel,

The angel yells back.

Will there be light,

Or will light be what I lack?

The knife is at my throat,

One more and I'm gone.

I could be there tomorrow,

Or be dead at dawn.

Will the angel win,

Will I be alive?

Will I breathe,

Will I strive?

Or will the devil take over,

My bofy on the ground.

Everyone is yelling,

But I don't hear a sound.
