Vanessas POV
"Are you seriously making me get on this kiddie train with you?" I ask him in disbelief.
He smiled at me as he nodded his head. He grabbed my hand and we both climbed onto the small train.
"You are one of kind Daniel that's for sure." I mumble playfully as we squeeze next to each other in one of the kiddie seats.
The seat was so tiny causing me and Daniels body's to be tightly pressed against each other. The guy working the train jingled the belle loudly and Daniel started cheering as the train started moving at a very slow pace. I laughed at Daniel as I felt his eyes on me.
"Nothing like being squeezed to death in a kids train for a couple minutes to get into the holiday spirit." Daniel says sarcastically.
He removes his arm from next to mine in order to give us both more room and he places his arm around my shoulder. He gently rubs his hand back and forth on my shoulder sending chills through my body.
"Ooo... I'm really craving one of those cookies from your bakery right now." Daniel says playfully as he nudges my shoulder.
"I'm sure you can stop by later today when I am working." I reply playfully.
"I almost forgot.... don't you owe me a kiss?" Daniel asks me as he raises his eyebrows at me.
"On the cheek." I say nervously as my eyes glance down on at his lips.
"Yeah.... cheek." He says playfully as he bites his lip.
I place a soft kiss on his cheek sending butterflies through my stomach. He pulls me closer to him and I rest my head on his shoulder.
"Sir can you ring the bell again?" Daniel asks the driver.
The driver laughs as he rings the bell. Daniel claps his hands dramatically causing me to laugh at him.
"You are definitely that person who claps when the plane lands." I say playfully.
"Surprisingly I am not." Daniel replies playfully.
The train stops back where it started and I see Caroline and Jack talking to each other.
"Thank you." Me and Daniel say in unison to the driver.
I try and get my leg out of the seat but it's stuck next to Daniels.
"Uh...." I say as I try and get out of the seat but it was too tight.
"Can you not get out?" Daniel asks me in disbelief.
I shake my head and he tries to get out but the seat is too small for the two of us.
"We got in so we have to able to get out." Daniel reassures me as we both try and get out of the seat.
"Let's both try and stand up on the count of three... one... two... three." I say to Daniel.
We both stand up and we are no longer stuck.
"Let's go!" Daniel yells in an excited tone.
I nearly trip climbing out of the train but I feel Daniels hands on my waist making sure I don't fall. We both climb out of the train safely.
"Can we go V? I'm bored." Caroline complains.
"Yeah we can go." I tell her as we all start walking out of the mall.
I feel Daniels hand grab mine causing me to look up at him. He had the cutest smile on his face as he looked over at me.
"I heard it's supposed to snow pretty badly next week." Daniel says in an excited tone.
"I love snow." I say as I swing our hands back and forth.
"Yeah because it means snow men, sledding and snow fights." Daniel replies playfully.
"Can you hurry up? It's freezing!" Caroline yells at me.
"I'll give her a ride home." Daniel tells her causing my heart to quicken.
"You will?" I ask him playfully.
"Yeah I will." He says softly as he gently squeezes my hand.
Caroline waves me goodbye as she drives away. Daniel leads me to his car. Jack tries to sit in the front seat but Daniel gives him a look with his eyes and Jack quickly climbs into the back seat. Daniel opens the car door for me and I get into his car. Daniel gets into the drivers seat and smiles over at me. He turns on the radio and Christmas music starts playing. Daniel starts driving and I can't help but admire how hot he looked while driving.
"Why did you offer to give me a ride home?" I ask him curiously.
"Well... Caroline was rushing you....plus me and Jack need to go buy some Christmas lights at another store and I thought you might wanna come along for the ride unless you want me to take you home." He says playfully.
"Yeah I'll come along with you guys." I say in an excited tone as I look over at Daniel.
All I want for Christmas is you starts playing and Daniel cranks up the radio. He starts screaming the lyrics dramatically causing me to laugh. He grabbed my hand and started singing into it as if it were a microphone causing me to laugh even harder.
"Come on....you sing this next part!" Daniel yells over the music.
I shake my head as he stops singing and points at me. I start singing along to the words as Daniel laughs at me. The song ends and Jack just looks at us with very wide eyes.
"I think I can hear my ears crying." Jack says sarcastically.
Daniel almost drove into another car because he was staring at me causing him to quickly look back at the road. He made a sharp turn as he placed his arm in front of me for protection. We arrived at the store and we all got out of the car. We walked around looking for lights and we looked at all the huge Christmas inflatables.
"Dude we have to get that one." Daniel says to Jack as he points at a huge inflatable of the grinch.
I walked past the inflatables and I tapped one of them on the head causing me to giggle. I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and spin me around as I hear Daniel laughing. He places me back on the ground and I feel the sudden urge to hug him. I quickly wrap my arms around him and pull him into a hug.
"What was that for?" He asks me softly as he wraps his arms around me.
"I don't know." I mumble softly.
"Well I like it." He says softly as he places as he holds me more tightly.
It felt so nice and warm in his arms.
"Are you guys seriously hugging in the middle of the store?" Jack asks us in disbelief.
We both quickly pull away as I awkwardly laugh.
"I was cold." I tell him playfully.
