Forgotten

Chapter Four

I have to admit the look of utter shock on Theo's face is a little amusing but I was hoping I'd escape without running into him again. After all he's the one who stormed out earlier without so much as saying if he was coming back. Thinking about it once again kindles my anger and I can't stop myself.

"Oh, hello Theo it's nice to see you again." I spit out with enough sarcasm to warn most people to back off. But of course it doesn't have much affect on Theo other than his look of shock turning into a harsh glare.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? You're not sneaking out of the hospital." Obviously he either thinks I've stolen these clothes or hasn't noticed them yet.

"I'm not sneaking, the nurse gave me some clothes and helped me check myself out." I try to walk around him but he mirrors my movement, blocking me from leaving. I scowl at him.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I repeat his words back to him.

"Keeping you from leaving, I thought that was obvious." I growl in frustration and try to move around him again.

"Just get out of my way and leave me alone." He finally moves and I head toward the front desk to ask some directions to the closest drug store to fill my prescription and pick up a few things. Once I've got directions I head towards the exit and make my way down the street and within a few minutes I've reached my destination. I forgo turning in my prescription and just grab some Ibuprofen seeing as I've only got the money that was in my back pocket when I was found and I'll need money for a motel. I finish picking out things I know I'll need, make-up, toothbrush, hairbrush, the basics. I ask the man at the counter where the cheapest motel and find out it's not very far.

I finish checking out and head in that direction before a hand grabs me and pulls me into an alley. I scream before a hand covers my mouth.
