Jacob Ashton Villanueva (POV)
As we finally reached the dock, I glanced at Sirena, who was still engrossed in eating the fruit I had given her.
(Is she still not finished eating it?)
Approaching her, she eventually noticed me and fixed her gaze on me with her deep, dark green eyes.
I was taken aback for a moment when her eye color seemed to flicker and change briefly.
(What-)
(Is it just my imagination, or did her eyes shift from blue to green just now?)
"Uhm..."
"Can you...walk now?"
"Or would you prefer me to carry you on my arm again?" I inquired, and she raised her arms with a smile, indicating she wanted to be carried once more.
I sighed as I noticed the two men behind me who were observing us.
Shaking my head, I lifted her in my arms, feeling her hold onto me tightly.
"We... going where, human?" she asked as I carried her.
"To my house," I replied, and she simply smiled.
(Geez...)
sigh
(I can't believe I'm bringing a stranger to my house.)
(Well... I can't just leave this woman alone.)
(I have no idea where she comes from...)
(Should I take her to the police station?)
(But she doesn't even know her own identity.)
(It could lead to complications if I abandon her at the police station.)
(However, if I involve the authorities...)
(They might be able to help her find her identity or locate her family...)
"Human land is very strange," she remarked, causing me to raise an eyebrow as I looked at her.
(Why does she keep referring to people as humans?)
(I mean, she is clearly a human as well...)
"The air is strange, my nose feels funny," she added, making me to chuckle softly.
(Her nose is feeling funny?)
"Tch."
Spotting my car in the distance, I quickened my pace and soon reached it. I opened the door and settled her in the front seat.
Just as I was about to close the door, she unexpectedly grabbed my shirt, prompting me to look at her.
"What now?" I asked as I gazed at her.
"This thing, What is this... called?" she inquired, pointing to something.
"Why does it have four strange circles underneath it?" she questioned, causing me to burst into laughter.
