-Come on, we're gonna be late!- Dominique yelled running to the car.

  -I'm coming, hold on!- Roger yelled back while locking the front door.

   It was Jim Beach's birthday, or Miami as they called him, the band manager. It would be in a fancy restaurant, they even needed an invitation to get in.

   They wouldn't be late if it wasn't for their incredible lack of luck they were having that day. They left little Felix at the nanny's house so they could get ready, and since then everything went wrong.

   Dominique couldn't find her shoe, it rained while they were dropping Felix off and Roger's shirt that were washed in the morning got wet with the rain, Roger couldn't fix his tie and Dominique was too busy trying to fix her hair to help him.

   They finally got in the car and went on their way to the great restaurant. Fortunately, nothing unfortunate happened while they were going and Roger, proudly, was bragging about the new words he learned in french while Dominique helped him.

  -Chéri.- Dominique suddenly called while looking for something in her bag.

  -Oh I know this one, it means darli_.- Roger started but Dominique cuted him.

  -Rog, we forgot our tickets.

   They looked each other dead in the eyes for a few seconds before bursting out laughing.

   Roger found it fascinating how a bad situation turned into a good one whenever they were around each other. The sad moments became easyer to bear and the "normal" moments became happy ones just by being by her side. He never felt this before. He had girlfriends but none made him feel safe only with her presence.

  -Today is a good day huh.- said Roger laughing while turning the car.

  -This kind of stuff only happens to us, really.- answered Dominique also laughing.

  When they got home, the laughter were already gone and they started looking for the tickets.

  -Found it, Rog! They were in Felix's room, he must have took it to play with it.

   The two ran back to the car as fast as they could, causing Dominique to drop her purse and having to go back to pick it and the laughter started again.

  -Dom.- called Roger when they calmed down.

  -Oui, chéri.

  -Je t'aime.

   Dominique looked at Roger with the sweetest of smiles and answered:

  -Je t'aime aussi.

I wrote this at night when I coudn't sleep so it's kinda short and silly
I love this couple so much but most people never heard of them
They were adorable and how dare they break up and make me suffer
And this last part with them speaking french I got the idea from a fanfiction of them called "learning curve" (😳)
