Broken

The curtain closes

2 years later than where we left off:

She paced the blank corridor her heart racing. "How is she is she alright?" The young woman burst her normally calm demeanor fading away more each minute. "She's fine the delivery went perfectly would you like to see your nephew?" The doctor chirped. She hastily walked toward her sisters room cautiously turning the doorknob. "Liz" her sister croaked a small smile on her face she held a small child in her hand. A kiss was planted against that child's forehead and for the briefest moment Vanessa could have sworn she saw a flicker of a smile on her newborn sons face.

1 year earlier:

Liz's pov: The chilled twilight air embraced my bare skin as I sprinted across the concrete. I could hear boots slamming against the ground not too far behind me and my stomach clenched in fear. A black car swerved around to where it's passenger side was facing me and blocking my path. The tinted window rolled down to reveal tyler in the front seat a grin on his face "get in dearest" he shouted. I threw the passenger door open throwing myself inside. "DRIVE" I yelled as the engine roared and the place I was held captive in faded from my view.

City's pov: "City can you promise me something" Dana asked lacing his fingers in mine. "Of course" I replied sitting up straighter my heart was pounding against my ribcage. What is he asking me? "Close your eyes" he whispered in my ear as I slowly shut them my mind whirling. I felt him slide a cold metal ring across my right ring finger. "You have no idea how much I wanted to put this on your left ring finger" he muttered "but I want you to promise me that one day you will marry me, I love you" he added as tears streamed down my face. I threw my arms around his neck leaning forward and planting my lips against his. "I'll stay with you until we grow old" I whispered a smile on my face.

David's pov: "hey are you alright? You kinda spaced out on me for a second there" Vanessa's asked waving her hand in front of my face. "Yeah I'm fine" I replied nervously she grinned back at me before tucking a strand of her golden blonde hair behind her ear. "You have something on you face" I muttered lunging forward and trying to get the smudge of sky blue paint off her face. "It's just paint David it'll wash off" she replied as I started to walk toward her. "You can't see it yet" she snapped moving the canvas over out of my view "why not" I whined. "Because it's special" she replied blowing me a kiss "it's good to see you happy again" I whispered a smile on my face she beamed back at me. "That's because I got a call from tyler today Liz is coming home" she burst.

Liz's pov: "so how are you?" He questioned. "Pretty good considering I just leaped into a car and left living hell" I snapped. "Damn I see you haven't changed much over the past year" he replied a smirk on his face. "Neither have you now when do I get to see my boyfriend" I retorted. "Soon enough dearest" he muttered through clenched teeth I rolled my eyes. "No thank you for saving me" he hissed "no you're my hero or I love you". "Tyler at one point I did love you and a part of me still does and I'm sorry your not getting the recognition you feel you deserve but in all honesty you are the reason I was taken in the first place" I snapped anger bubbling up inside of me. The car screeched to a stop on the side of the road and his gaze met mine. "I'm sorry" he whispered leaning forward and pressing his lips against mine.

Mary's pov: "STOP IT" I shouted as he continued to tickle me. "Fine then as long as you admit that I'm the best boyfriend you've ever had" will boasted. "You are the best boyfriend I have ever had" I muttered leaning forward and pressing my lips against his. "Be my always forever" I whispered leaning my head against his chest. "I promise" he murmured planting a kiss against my forehead. "Sing me to sleep?" I asked as he began to hum a soft song. His sweet voice lulled me to sleep.

Coles pov: I sat on the couch patiently awaiting her arrival. The front door creaked open and I shot up. "Liz" I shouted she ran toward me tears in her eyes. She looked so beautiful even with her blonde hair knotted and the dark circles that rimmed her eyes. She threw her arms around me and I felt so happy to see her again. "I love you Liz, I love you so much" I whispered tears in my eyes. "Okay we get it you two catch up" Tyler snapped as he stormed away.

"I-I love-"

Authors note: hey guys I'll be writing an epilogue that will reveal who Liz truly loves and the outcome for all of the characters (including tyler) comment your thoughts!!!
