The moment Lisa stepped into the restaurant, her eyes was met with the same gorgeous pair she recognised from yesterday. It sparkled the instant she gazed into it and found herself mesmerised yet again.

Those eyes were far too dreamy to be true.

"Oh- hey! You came! I was wondering if you were late, turns out, I was just too early." Jennie giggles and huffs, eyes shifting down to the huge trash bag she was wielding along with her on the way out of the restaurant.

Lisa scanned her for a good while, seeing her in a simple apron over her school uniform was one very enchanting sight. Her hair was in a bun up this time, enhancing more of her facial features against the evening sunset light.

Jennie's sweat was trickling down from her forehead to her chin and the bare of her palms were going sort of red from the tight grasp on the loaded trash bag.

Though Lisa didn't feel like socialising as usual, or being involved with anyone as much as she could, the sight of the pretty girl's palms creasing made her want to wince. Not because it was disgusting, it was just a very painful view to comprehend. So she wanted to at least help the girl with the trash disposal, knowing how tough it was doing it alone.

It was only Jennie's second day and they're making her do this by herself? Lisa thought. She reminisced when she had to spend almost 2 hours just reloading and unloading the trash to the trash truck at the back.

So no way was she going to let Jennie do it on her own.

Without a word, Lisa abruptly threw her bag to the side and flashed a look at the girl quickly before snatching the bags from her hands gently and pushing the door of the restaurant with her shoulder to get out. At first, Jennie was left bewildered but she followed flustered afterwards.

"H-hey, Lisa! It's fine I can do it!"

But Lisa ignored her, and went ahead faster. She saw Jennie's hands yesterday, it was small and petite and lovely. How was she going to let those hands get rough and crusty if she had all the power to help her?

When they stumbled to the trash loading bay, Lisa yanked all 3 trash bags into the main dumpster harshly and brushed her hands off.

"Blegh, it stinks here." She heard a soft voice mumble. She turned behind her to look at the girl who ever looks so beautiful, pinching the collar of her uniform over her nose, muffling her voice.

"You'll get used to it." That was all Lisa said before she made her way back to the restaurant without bothering if the girl followed or not.

Jennie was super friendly, really. Yet Lisa still didn't feel like talking much. More like she didn't want to open up. She thought maybe what she said came off too rude, or sassy, but she really wasn't in the mood.

She hasn't been since losing her sight of colours.

A few hours has gone by since they were at the trash loading bay. None has spoken a word to each other since they were busy and the orders were hell. One table of customers ordered 6 rice bowls at the same time, causing Lisa to involuntarily sigh each second her mind had everything mixed up. Which topping was which, why does 2 of the toppings look the exact same, why wasn't the egg bucket being refilled, where was the meatballs, how did she end up having fishballs in her hands, what was going on.

She was frantically finding the blender when the girl beside her swooped in and helped prepare all the toppings as if it was her 100th time making the orders.

It was her first.

"You could use a hand." Lisa felt Jennie's wide gummy smile warmth up her surroundings as the girl said.
