Chapter 11

I was trying my best of not admitting anything to my mom. Yes I did think Dylan was really cute and a good person, but I was just stopping myself. Yes I did date guys in the past but they were a bunch of assholes that wanted nothing more then to get in your pants and cheat on you. I do believe in love and commitment, and all but I'm just... Gonna wait for the right time you can say.

While trying to avoid eye contact from my crazy mom I decided to get some cups and drinks for everyone. I set the glasses down and went for the fridge of course my mom was standing in front of it.

" What do you want woman!" I said my eyes widened.

" I just want you to tell me!"

" Stop being childish." I said trying so hard not to laugh.

" look I think he's cu-"

" that's my girl!" I slapped my moms arm playfully.

" Shut up." I said and I took the drinks over to the boys.

About an hour later Aaron and the girls came over and we decided to have a movie night and totally pig out. Mom's burgers were freaking amazing! Sadly she had to go to work but hey at least she wouldn't embarrass me than she already did before. I even realized that they go to Cedar Crest! I honestly don't believe in the whole school rival thing. It's just plane stupid. We were all just sitting quietly eating our food when Aaron spoke up.

" Wide don't we introduced ourselves, because this is really weird." Aaron said charmingly.
" That will be nice." Replied Matt smiling shyly at the ground. Matt is literally the type of guy who doesn't even know he's cute. He has a toned body, green eyes, brown hair that's shaved but spike up at the top, and his height is a combination of mine and Brittany's height.

" Well for starters hi beauties I'm Aaron, 16 years old , yes I'm gay ( everyone laughs) I've known Avery and the girls for about six years. I'm also Cambodian and have a strong love for Beyoncé, Iggy, and Ariana grande." Once Aaron was done he jokingly winked at Hannah and sat back down on the couch. Then Brittany.

" I'm also 17, I love panic at the disco, my favorite color is purple, and I've known everybody for quite some time and my dream is one day to become a professional dancer." Everybody clapped and Brittany sat back down. Arise came Hannah oh god here we go.

" I like dick! Hannah said jokingly almost making me choke on the drink I had, she always knew how to make an entrance for herself, she has an awesome perverted sense of humor, but at the same time she can be like a older sister. In my opinion she was the mature.

" You and me both girl!" Aaron laughed oh my god I can't with them.

" Avery your friends are awesome!" Dylan said breathlessly trying to keep his laughs in. I'm pretty glad that he and the boys like them because I was terrified of what could have happened. Because not everybody likes us I mean that's just part of life and not just by Highschool.

" Haha. Anyway I'm also 17, I have the most amazing idiots in the world. Ummm.... I love the color green, I'm definitely a total rock n roll baby, and I'm planning to become a makeup artist." She sticks her tongue out and sits back down.

I then realized that everybody was unique in their own way. Personally I don't believe that they're a perfect person because I'm some time we all have our down falls and its up to that person to pick themselves up. The more I was hearing everybody's fun facts I began to realize that no matter how different we can be, we had a bond.

One bye one everyone said they're goodbyes and headed back home after all it was a school night. Mom was still at work so I took all the dishes and began cleaning them. I was going to begin humming a song when an arm touched my shoulder. Haha I've been so occupied I didn't know Dylan didn't leave.

" You have a special bond with your friends Ave." he said grabbing a plate and put his hands in the sink, I tried to refuse but I did need to the help, though I don't like asking.

" Thank you, they are special to me." I said shyly holding on to my silver pendant.

" Now it's your turn Ave, if you go I go." That smirk always gets me every time. But I guess he should hear my story. The story of little Avery.
