Never in a million years did I think I'd see Dabi open up to me like this, it was truly a sight to enjoy. He was now giving me a warm smile after I encouraged him to tell me more. "You do look like you have a lot on your plate so, I'll be more than happy to hear you out" I added and he looked away giggling. Oh, shit do I sound like an idiot? No way I'm soft for this guy.

"Seriously? you're too kind for your own good"

"Just for you, I am"

"Good joke"

"Does it look like I'm joking?"

We returned to look at each other and his face was lit up red. "Maybe some other time, I have to work all the shit I missed the last weeks, and plus lunch is over" He explained getting up and adjusting his clothes, I mimicked his actions and walked with him. "I don't mind helping with work, I'm quite the brain myself" I boast about myself. It really was bullshit, I just wanted to find ways to spend more time with him. "Okay then" He agreed to my idea and I screamed a little on the inside.

"You're room then? Or mine?"

"The library"

"How boring"

"I'm not about to let you in my room and I'm not going to yours, it's rude I barely know you"

"Barely know you? Wow, I'm hurt!"

"..It's true though"

And with that, we closed lunch and completed the rest of our classes. My body was in the extensive lectures, but my mind was in the library with Dabi, doing work together. It's not long until the bell rings and everybody rushes to go outside, I scan for any sign of Dabi and that's when I find him walking with earphones on. "Hawks? Hey, you wanna go there now?" He notices me pop up by his side and I nod confidently. We walk up to the exit and that's when I stop in my tracks.

"Hawks..? Are you alright?"

"Dabi, what day is it today?"

"Tuesday"

"Fuck, second Tuesday of the month?"

"Mhm, what is it?"

SHIT. I'm supposed to visit my dad today, fuck me. How am I gonna explain this to Dabi, we literally just made plans today? There's no point in storytelling him, he won't believe me or just think it's some dumb excuse to dip.

"Dabi, I'm sorry, can we reschedule?"

"I mean I still need to do work, if you can't make it I'll take care of the work myself, it's mine after all"

"Okay, again, I'm sorry!" Was the last thing I said before leaving him alone and going my own way.
