Centuries later...

"Princess, Princess, Princess!"A violet-haired girl exclaimed excitedly, bouncing up and down around the room lie an overexcited child. "Hurry up! I wanna be at the gate to greet big brother!"

"Hmm..."Hummed another girl with crimson hair, who was staring uncertainly into a full-body mirror. She was dressed in a floor-length pink gown with pale violet trim and long hanging pale yellow sleeves; a yellow obi fitted around her small waist with an orange obijime securing it.

"You look beautiful, Princess."One of the Princess's servants holding a tea tray, Min-soo, remarked with a gentle smile whilst the Princess turned from side to side.

"Right?!"Chimed the excited girl who'd been bouncing around the Princess. As she tried from her bouncing, though, she bumped into Min-soo, who blushed lightly and nearly dropped the tray he was holding.

"J-Jang mi!"The young man exclaimed, averting his gaze, flustered.

Looking up at Min-soo, the girl called 'Jang-mi' giggled sheepishly. "Sorry I'll stop now."

"U-Um, "Min-soo tried to shake off his blush unsuccessfully. "We should get to the courtyard—"He began addressing the redhead girl again but was cut off by her.

"No!"The violet-eyed blueblood adamantly refused, clasping the edges of the pale turquoise robe lined with pale gold trim that she'd put on over her gown. "It's just not right."She grumbled, frustrated.

"Jang-mi, where did I put that calico?"The Princess asked, running across the room and tossing off the robe she'd just been wearing to one of the female servants nearby.

"Over here, Princess Yona!"Exclaimed the aforenamed girl, who promptly began looking through some drawers, deep violet bangs swaying over her eyes. If not for the sunlight pouring in the window beside her and casting a glowing sheen over her mane, anyone could mistake her hair for being black.

"Father!"Princess Yona's startled voice snapped the handmaiden from her search, Jang-mi's head snapping up and almost whacking it on the dresser in the process. "What happened to the ceremony?"

Immediately, all present aside from the Princess bowed at the waist in the presence of their King, Il, smiles enveloping their expressions.

"As you can see, it's over."King Il replied, hands folded behind his back, a wide smile on his face at the sight of his daughter looking so well dressed for the day.

"No way!"Yona exclaimed in alarm. "I'm sorry, I..."The Princess lowered her gaze guiltily, one hand clasping her forearm.

Immediately, King Il bellowed a laugh. "No worries! It's just a formality anyway."Meeting Yona's gaze, he gestured a hand for her to relax. "No need for you to show up."

"Yeah, don't worry about it!"Jang-mi exclaimed, running up to Yona's side. "Besides, it's a special day! No one's going to blame you for wanting to look your best!"She said while giddily bounding in circles around the Princess again, flashes of red appearing every so often behind the girl's bangs as she bounced. "Especially when the result is this good! You're so pretty!! I mean, you're always pretty, but today you're just... wow!!"

Chuckling softly at her personal servant's childishness, a little smile pulled at Yona's lips. However, it was brief, soon being overtaken by a frown when she looked back at the King. "Hey, father... is my hair weird?"

"Oh?"King Il appeared taken aback by the question; meanwhile, Jang-mi pouted at the question. "Of course not. No jewel is more beautiful than you..."He replied with a closed-eye smile.
