(Zindelo's P.O.V.)
I walked into the bettingshop and heard some chatter coming from Michael's office. As I walked closer to the door I heard Isaiah talking. He wanted to have a drink because it was pay day. But Michael declined not wanting to leave. "Look. They won't serve a black man without a Shelby by his side" I heard Isaiah tell his friend, "so you're using me?" I heard Michael question with a chuckle. "Hello boys" I said stepping inside the office. "Heard you guys want to drink?" I asked and looked over at Isaiah. He nodded. "Well. I have a job for you that can also give you some drinks. You up for it?" I asked them as I leaned against the wall. They both nodded eagerly. I explained to them that I knew where the two bastards, who had tortured me, where going to be tonight. I had tracked them for a couple of days now. "I know which bar they go to. How late they arrive their, how many beers they have. Basically I know their every move" I told them. "So I need you two to go into the Marquis of Lorne and strike a bit of nerves into them. Make them scared that more Peaky boys show up and kill them". I told them not to engage them, that's my job. "For the drinks" I said tossing some money on Michael's desk "do we have a deal?". The two looked at each other before Michael grabbed the money and stood up.

Me and Isaiah arrived in the Marquis that my cousin told us about. Swing music was playing and people chattering amongst themselves. We approached the bar and I looked around the room for the two men. I saw them stand up and leave the bar, I cursed in my mind. "Two pints of dark mild, please" I said and put down Zindelo's money. "Fuck that. We are Peaky boys. Two whiskeys" Isaiah said and turned around to leam on the bar. I lit a cigarette while we waited for our drink. A whistle emerged from behind us. "I don't drink with black" a man sneered looking at Isaiah. "Here we fucking go" Isaiah replied back, "Paddy, they're okay" the bartender said to the male. "Not with me they're not. I don't drink in pubs with blacks" the man named Paddy said, "so leave" I told him and nodded to the door, "look, my dad is the preacher round here. He has connections. Ask anybody" Isaiah responded getting a scoff from Paddy "I couldn't give a fuck who he is". "I'm telling you. Leave it, Paddy" the bartender said once again. Trying to get it through Paddy's stupid head that we are not to be messed with. "And I'm telling this darkie to get out of here". Isaiah turned around at his line "You know something? Fuck off". "It's alright Isaiah, leave it. We'll go to my cousins pub" I said putting a hand on his shoulder. "I like it here" Isaiah snapped. "You fucking nigger" Paddy said and threw a punch at Isaiah. That was it and we began our fight. People screaming and shouting as they tried to get out of our way. Glass shattered. As both me ans Isaiah were being held in a headlock the door from the pub opened up and saw Zindelo stood in the doorway. He cleared his throat and everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at him.

I looked around the silent pub while no one moved. I gave a glance to Michael and Isaiah. I shook my head and grabbed a cigarette from my pocket. "I suggest you and your mates let my boys go, Paddy" I said while lighting my cigarette. I looked up at Paddy and the colour drained from his face as the realization hit him like a brick. "Mr Shelby, I-" he started but I put my hand up telling him to shut his mouth. "The suggestion was actually an order, Paddy" I said and glared at him. Michael and Isaiah were let go and they looked at me. "Get out" I growled at him. He took the advice and bolted out the pub. Isaiah and Michael chuckled and grabbed their drink and downed it. I whistled at them and they looked towards me. "When you're done, come to me" I told them before turning around to go smoke outside. I waited outside and eventually the two came to greet me. "What was that all about?" I asked and puffed out some smoke. They explained that Paddy didn't want to drink with a black man. "Next time just mention my name alright" I said and threw my cigarette on the ground. They followed me towards the Garrison. "His face, man. Did you see his fucking face when Zindelo showed up?" Michael said laughing to Isaiah, "you punch like a fucking kangaroo" Isaiah commented. They continued talking about the fight as we neared the pub. I opened the door and got inside being met with the chattering of the occupients. "Fucking hell, it's packed in here, isn't it?" Michael said walking past me to the bar as I waited for them. Once they got their drinks I followed them into the private room. "Here they are, look" Arthur said as he saw Michael and Isaiah, "junior Peaky Boys". I looked down at the table and saw they were playing some sort of card game. "What's happened to you, have you been scrapping?" Arthur asked as he looked at their bloody knuckles. "Oh. Some idiots at the Marquis of Lorne tried to stop me and Isaiah from drinking. But it's all right. We fought them off" Michael said proud. "The Marquis, eh?" Arthur said looking over at me. I nodded at him and John and they got the sign. Standing up immediatly and pushing Finn back in the seat."Don't nick any of my chips, Finn!" John said to our luttle brother, "where are you going?" Michael questioned, "we won't be long" Arthur responded. They walked past me and I stopped Arthur in his tracks. "When you're done. Come back, I need you for something" I whispered to them. They nodded and left. The door closed and I sat down. "What are they doing?" Michael asked looking over at his friend. "Marquis of Lorne. Shame. It was a nice pub" Isaiah replied. Michael looked over towards me. "So did you see them?" I asked them as I leaned forward to nick some of John's chips. The two of them stayed silent while Finn looked confused. "I asked a question" I said lowering my voice. Michael sighed "they left earlier. Just as we walked in". "Did they see you?". Both of them shook their head, telling me they weren't seen. I growled annoyed. Silence filled the room as I thought about the next place they would go. Finn. Michael and Isaiah started to play the card game that John, Arthur and Finn were playing before. Meanwhile I read a newspaper.
