It was a beautiful afternoon at Havenfield, but all Sophie could think about was stress. The Black Swan had started beating the Neverseen more frequently now, but they had to stay an extra step ahead. So Sophie didn't want to mess that up, by taking a moment to relax. She also had tons of homework that was due when she went back to school, and despite having many other things to do, she still wanted to turn it in before it was late.

Before she started working, Sophie grabbed her iPod that Dex had fixed for her, popped her headphones in, and hit play on her favorite playlist. And not after 10 minutes of working, a song came on that Sophie couldn't resist to dance too.

As she started spinning around, the song got to the chorus and she started singing her heart out. Sophie knew every word, and slowly the world faded away, till it was only her and her iPod. No Neverseen, no Black Swan, no Homework. Just Sophie, singing and dancing to the music.

With the last few notes playing out, Sophie did one final spin, turning to face the door, and returning to the world.

"Wow Foster, you got some moves," Keefe said from the door, a wide smirk spread across his face.

"H-how much of that did you see?" She asked blushing.

"Oh, don't worry, your secret is safe with me," Keefe said walking up to her.

As if on cue, Sophie's headphones disconnected from her iPod, and a slow song started playing.

Great, how embarrassing. Sophie thought.

"May I have this dance m'lady?" Keefe asked, grabbing Sophie's hand, and kissing her knuckle.

"S-sure," Sophie replied, blushing a deep shade of crimson.

Keefe lightly placed his hands on Sophie's waist, she put her hands on his shoulders, and they started swaying back and forth to the music. Already lost in the other's eyes, neither one of them realized when the song was over, they just kept dancing.

The loud sound of a door slamming shut, snapped them out of their daze, and they jumped apart. Which caused them both to fall on the floor.

"Sophie, can I have some help with Verdi-oh That Boy is here," Grady said rolling his eyes.

"Sorry Mr. Ruewen, we were working on homework together," Keefe smirked, getting up from where he fell on the floor.

"Yeah," Sophie agreed.

"Well, Tha-I mean Keefe, can help us wash Verdi then," Grady said, not buying their lie.

"Yes sir," Keefe saluted, walking out the door.

As soon as he was out of earshot, Grady turned to face Sophie with an annoyed  look on his face.

"What's up with Keefe?" Grady asked raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know what you mean," Sophie responded.

"Well, I guess you'll figure it out soon enough then," Grady said, walking out the door.

What could he mean? Sophie thought.

Grady had asked her a similar question a few years before right after the found Silveny. And quite a while later, it still didn't make much sense.

I know this is kind of short, but school just started up again, and I wanted to get this chapter out if I happen to disappear for a little while. Thank you all for reading this book though, and I'll try to update as soon as possible.
