Elianna's POVI wake up to the sound of quiet humming. My head feels like it's laying of a rock but a soft rock. My hand a gripping a shirt. A shirt? Who's shirt could my hands be on?
I look up and notice Nathan to see his eyes closed and hear his soft humming.
My mother would hum to me to get me to sleep soundly. His voice sounds so nice it can make me fall asleep all over again.
I soon realize the hold I have on his shirt once again. All the memories from a few hours ago come rushing back. I acted like a little child in front of my big brother. I feel so utterly embarrassed.
I don't want him to see me as a little baby. Only in that moment I wanted to be comforted by him. No! I needed to be comforted by him.
My mom is gone and he was there it made sense.
I sink more into him. His touch is so nice, but now I'm just here awkwardly laying on him, and I don't know what to do with my hands, as their still tightly gripping onto him. I unclench my hands and notice Nathans eyes open. He's looking right down at me.
"Hey Ellie! Did you have a nice nap?" Nathan asks his voice sounding raspy, but also laced with sweetness like he was talking to a little child.
"Mmmm" I moan in response since I'm still tired and uncomfortable with the fact that I showed all my emotions to him. Now he probably thinks of me like a little baby, and I barely even know him! Well, there goes my first impression, right down the drain.
"The jet is landing soon so it's best you start to wake up a little more." Nathan says encouraging me to take in the light of the beautiful night sky and city lights.
I sit up and he "helps" by propping me up on his knees and bouncing me like a little toddler.
I give him a look that says 'what are you doing' in pure disgust.
He chuckles at me for the hundredth time. I don't think he's really making fun of me though. I think it's more of a caring laugh that shows he truely cares about me.
"Stop!!! Im not a baby!" I whine in protest, but in the end I realize I just sound more like a baby then what I probably already look like. I sit there not knowing where to go or how to get off of him with my arms crossed and still, pouting.
"Baby, Ellie.....You are just so adorable." He coos at me.
"Think of it as making up for all the lost time that I missed of your childhood hmm." He said with a genuine smile across his face and hmming at the end asking me to agree with him.
"I guess..." I say with my voice wavering not really knowing what else to do.
"Um why d-didn't I know a-about you though?" I say, now wanting to ask a million more questions, and wanting to shout out 'where have you been all my life?!?!'
"That's a question for, Elijah, honey." Nathan says smiling not wanting to speak anymore on the matter and he just goes on his phone still bouncing his knee trying to keep me content and soothe me.
"Who's Elijah?" I ask still utterly confused even more than I was in the first place.
"Well, Elijah is your eldest brother, silly. You already forgot there's 5 more of me?" Nathan says laughing and then saying something under his breathe that's along the lines of 'well not like me they are all so much worse'. I didn't really catching on that being as naive as I am. I was still thinking about the fact that I have to go "home" to 5 more boys who are now my brothers who I've never even met before.
We soon exit the plane and there's no need to carry anything off of it since Nathan said that's all already being taken care of.
Nathan takes my hand in his once again, and then leads me to a black limo with tinted windows. It looks so secretive I don't even know if I want to enter the car to lead me into my new home with so many unknowns.
Nathan opens the door for me and smiles reassuring me to step inside, the vehicle full of unknowns.
