“NOOO!! STOP IT!! MAKE HIM STOP!!!” Fry screamed at the top of his lungs to the blubbery pink aliens as Bender smashed his head against
the wall. The bending unit was slowly breaking through the brick wall to the other side, but he was destroying himself in the process, as well. Precious pieces of metal alloy fell from Bender’s disfigured face to the floor, landing with a small clang. Tears fell from Fry’s bright shining orbs as he watched his lover smash his head against the wall.

“PLEASE STOP!! WHATEVER LIES BEHIND THE WALL ISN’T WORTH IT!! YOU’RE DESTROYING HIM! YOU’RE DESTROYING MY BENDER!!!” the human shrieked once more, seeing as none of the other crew cared nearly as deeply about the A.I. compared to him. But his cries landed on deaf ears. The Planet Express crew were stunned in shock and it wasn’t like the aliens gave two shits about what happened to someone’s friend, not to
mention their boyfriend.

Fry knew it wasn’t Bender’s fault; he was under the control of the alien’s virus. But, it still made him so angry that Bender couldn’t hear him; that he couldn’t break free from the aliens and come home to him.

At last, the robot stopped. Bender leaned back from the massacred
brick wall, revealing a hidden safe. Then, he turned around to face the crew and aliens. What Fry saw left him sick-to-his-face speechless. Tears streamed down the male’s face at the gruesome sight.

Bender’s face was completely disfigured. The front half of his face
was bent in and dents were littered across the A. I.’s features. Plethoras of chips had appeared in many areas on the robot’s face, as well. He looked horrible.

Fry fell to his knees and raised his hands to his face. “B-Bender…” he
whimpered into his palms.

Bender was screaming on the inside. To break free, to fix his face, and to be with his lover once more. In his mind, the programming ran red. Chains draped everywhere and constricted him. He was incapable of stopping himself from doing anything the aliens told him to. Bender kicked and wailed and writhed in a desperate attempt to free himself on the inside.

But, on the outside, he stood complacent, and seemingly stoic, not
bothered by his actions. He stayed still once he walked away from the wall, turning his body only to face the crew. The robot was unmoving as he laid chilling eyes on his boyfriend. Fry flinched for a moment, but then stared at the robot longingly, wishing desperately that he could do some- thing to fix it, that he could have done something to stop all this. Suddenly, something snapped inside Fry, if nothing had before.

He stood up at record speeds and ran up to the bending unit. “Bender!” he screamed, holding onto the robot. “Bender! You have to break free! I know you can!!”

All three of the pink blubbery aliens shook their heads simultaneously. “He can’t hear you,” the middle one said. “And, even if he could, it’s pointless. None can break free of the particular
virus he has.” The alien looked at Fry with chilling eyes and whispered: “So give up.”

Heartbroken, Fry released the robot from his hold and flopped to the floor once more. Bender stepped over the male and strode over to his new masters. “So, like, what’s my next task?”

The aliens huddled together for a moment before breaking apart. “Bending Unit!” the shorter one addressed the robot. “Take those
humans-” he paused, gesturing to Leela, Zoidberg, Hermes, Farnsworth,
and Dusty. “ -and that...thing...to the Anger Dome! And lock them in there.”

“NO! That’s not what the Anger Dome is for, you dummies!” Professor Farnsworth exclaimed, clearly angry. “Who cares? You don’t have a dungeon, so that will have to do.”
