Chapter 8- A Band of Followers

Elsewhere in the Malfoy's mansion a long table sits in the dining room where all of the death eaters sit looking at a raging Voldemort oblivious to how his forces were reduced and where this so-called wizard is that has been taking down his forces. "We seem to be at an impasse." We have somehow failed to take over Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry and some of my most prized possessions have been destroyed except for one. Nagini come. A snake slithers onto the long table towards Voldemort. Now can anyone tell me anything at all about our little problem we seem to be having. As Voldemort looks around the table his eyes stop on Malfoy. "Tell me Lucius what can you tell me about this wizard." Looking up slowly but still cowering in fear to avoid facing Voldemort's wrath and anger. In a bit of a whisper Lucius reponds. My lord we know that he is young and had two people with him. One of our people killed Moody the auror but after one of the wizards killed everyone with what seemed like a lightning storm. Then they apperated away taking the body away. We don't no more than that my lord. He then lowers his head back down showing fear to Voldemort as he hovers over him.

Well then, is there no one else who can tell me anything more, his voice piercing the room full of fear in his followers. As soon as he said this Snape came through the door with a bit of a blood spot on his face reeking of death. "Severus my friend and second in command you bring news?" Not more than what Lucius has given you besides the fact that he or she is the one that prevented us from taking control of Hogwarts. He is now part of the protection at Hogwarts and in hunting you down. Slamming the table in rage Voldemort feels that he must speed up his progress in his plans. Well it seems like we need to find out more about this wizard.

The next morning Harry wakes up to two naked beautiful girls laying in his arms. Having a full planned day ahead of him he got out of bed, got dressed and headed straight towards McGonagall's Office. After Harry had arrived he and McGonagall started talking about his plans and as the new leader of the Order of the Phoenix Harry was privy to all information and plans that they may have. They both went over Harry's ideas including putting his own protection spell around Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. Once it was time for breakfast Harry headed off concluding their meeting for the day. Harry sat at a table reading the Daily Prophet waiting for Hermione and Ginny to show. While waiting for his two girlfriends he was joined by none other than Luna Lovegood.

"Hello Harry, how are you doing this morning?" Not too bad just reading up on the latest news. Seems like the Ministry of Magic has failed in trying to make me an enemy of the wizarding world he said as he sat the paper down. You know Harry, Ginny seems to be a lot happier lately. Don't worry Luna no-ones getting hurt and you were right about your suspicions when we were in the carriage. Surprised Luna was shocked at how Harry just described what she saw since their return to Hogwarts. "I also know Luna that you feel the same way just a little bit, but more towards Ginny." Luna could believe it she felt like Harry had just reached into her tempting thoughts. If you talk to the girls they won't mind and as soon as he finished his conversation with Luna, Hermione and Ginny walked in and both sat at the table next to Harry. Going over why he was not in bed this morning when the girls woke up Harry was gone. Upon talking to Hermione, Ginny noticed that Luna was just sitting there, a surprised reaction still stuck on her face. "Are you okay Luna? You seem a bit pale." Snapping back into the real world she just simply nodded her head.

After breakfast, Harry, Ginny, and Hermione started walking back towards McGonagall's office when they came across Malfoy and his goons. As soon as Malfoy saw Harry he froze in fear for his life becoming pale as a ghost. Seeing this Harry smiled and winked at Malfoy who ran away as soon as the trio passed by. Upon arriving at McGonagall's office the trio walked in with Harry smiling at the Professor as she saw the three. "Are you sure you want to do this Mr.Potter sir?" Harry what is going on and why is Professor McGonagall talking like that. Harry started to explain part of the meeting he and the Professor had earlier. I was talking to Minerva earlier about how I will accept the early graduation from Hogwarts. I passed all the required tests and all that is left is for you two and Luna to do the same. "Wait, why are you involving Luna into this?" I am not; she is already a part of it, looking closely at Ginny. Anyways we will of course remain here at Hogwarts for the rest of the year. But passing these tests will allow you to join me on a few adventures and quests. I had a little mind conversation with Luna earlier and she already agreed she has just started taking the test needed for early graduation. I have also been allowed to place my own protection spell on Hogwarts.
