Hi! Before we start, some background info: This is a Peter Parker x Reader fanfic where Y/N and Peter are childhood friends and are hanging out one day at
Y/N's house just chilling and making/looking at tiktoks.

"Aww! That puppy's so cute." I laugh, looking back at Peter.
"Right? It's adorable!" Peter jokes.

But not as adorable as he is..

I shake my head slightly to remove myself from my thoughts, which seems to catch his attention, as he asks "You good over there?"
"Yep!" I reply a little too quickly. "I'm fine." I give him a warm smile.

As fine as someone with a crush on their childhood best-friend could be.

"Well, how about we try this trend?" He inquires, turning his phone to reveal a "My Ideal First Date" tiktok. The friends were picking between different places and activities to show their preference.
"Hmm, I don't know Peter," The skepticism is evident on my face. "I don't tend to post stuff about dating..."
"I know," he adds. "I just thought it looked like fun. But if you don't want to do it, that's fine too."
He really understands me.
"Ok I'll do it," I state.
I understand him too, and I can tell that he was really excited about this.
"Really? Great!" He beams, now smiling from ear to ear.

"Then I was thinking," He pauses for a second, looking at his papers. "End of the night kiss-" I sense him stiffen a bit at that last word.
Did I really though? I must be imagining things.
"Or not on the first date?" He finishes, and I consider my answer carefully.
"Sounds like the best for last, I like it!" I finally say after thinking it over.
"I will definetly choose not on the first date, though maybe if I've known them for a while."
Ugh, what am I thinking saying something like that! I'm dumb. So dumb.
"Uh, I'd like to get to know them first I mean!" I exclaim, probably not sounding much better. Why am I such a moron?
"Noted," He mumbles, though obviously loud enough that I heard it.
"Noted?" I raise an eyebrow accusingly, which seems to make him blush. "Are you taking notes of this now?" I add, a wave of confidence washing over me.
"I- Well-" He fumbles over his words, scratching the back of his neck.
He likes me, doesn't he? How did I not notice this before now?
"Relax, I'm just messing with you," I tease.
A smile tugs at the corner of his mouth before he says "Of course you are, you love to tease me." What?
My eyes widen a bit and he blushes. Oh.
"I didn't mean it like-"
"Yes I know," I giggle, cutting him off. "You're right I do," I pause before continuing, "That's because you've never stopped me though." It was my turn to blush as the next words came out of my mouth, "And because you're cute when you're flustered." Did I really just say that out loud?? Oh no I did.
"What?" He seems visibly confused at first, then smiles a little to himself. "You really think I'm cute..?" I wanted to say "Yes! Yes! You're adorable!" But decided against it and instead responded with: "Well, I mean- Yes Peter, I do find you cute..." I felt so tongue tied. Was that all I could say?
"I think you're cute too Y/N," He finally spoke, and I went to sit next to him on the couch. "Peter, I have something I want to tell you.." He gulped and nods. "I've liked you for a while, but been too afraid to tell you up until now." It feels so good to finally say it out loud to him and not be worried about how he would respond.
"I like you too Y/N," He takes my hand, and I intertwine my fingers with his.
Suddenly a thought comes to mind, and I'm reminded of a tiktok song.
"I wanna ruin our friendship," I sing, hoping he'll catch on.
He smiles and continues the lyric, "We should be lovers instead~"
We both laugh. "So... do you wanna go on a date sometime?" He inquires, "Since we both like each other."
"Omg Peter you don't even have to ask. Yes! I would love to!" I exclaim, I could feel myself glowing with happiness.
"Really? This is awesome!" He practically shouted in excitement,
"We should totally make a tiktok about this."
I laugh, "And say what? "Oh by the way, we're dating now"?" I'm only half joking
"Yes that's perfect!" He insists. "Cause why not, right?" He was quoting something I say to him all the time.
"Sure, why not."

Ok idk about y'all but I love this fanfic. It turned out just as I wanted it to, and I hope you liked it as much I as did! I totally didn't stay up late writing it though...shhh no one needs to know.. 😅
