Panic seeping into his system, Aysel runs - Runs until his legs give out in front of the small opening in the forest ruins. Noon - 1 day after - Queensland Australia - Mackay area - Roman
Roman checked the time. Fuck- He was late for his shift- Roman carefully lifted the vibrant wig off his head and onto a foam mannequin head. Then, rushing out of the studio dressing room and out of the studio itself. Bare feet hitting the smoothly paved sidewalk and the occasional sharp pebble. onlookers dawning a face of concern as he passed.
Rounding the corner to Slater ave, Roman sprinted to the doors of Drop Dead Café- Owned by his uncle, who was currently away on holiday visiting family who knows where- And shoved open the doors. To be met by a boy sitting on the floor with his arm stuck in a chair and a mop at his side. Roman stopped dead in his tracks when he saw him - a black haired - dark skinned beauty sat before him [granted arm stuck in chair and all] Roman could not find the courage or willingness to take another step but he didn't have to because soon the dark skinned beauty spoke up.
"hey. Name's Dakoda. Help?"
Roman finally after what seemed like hours took a step towards the beauty named Dakoda just then realizing that he was still in his dress, walked up to him blushing furiously. Roman swallowed down his shameful pride and attempted to wrangle the beauty's arm out of the chair without causing much pain or discomfort. before giving up and starting to tug at the chair and Dakoda's arm, freeing it after a few attempts.
A sigh of relief from the boy warmed Roman's heart, And the beauty gave his thanks while roman was retreating to the back of the shop. Quickly changing into a more casual outfit of white ripped jeans and a white shirt with red sleeves with some black converse. Before leading himself back to the front. stopping once more as he once again caught sight of the beauty, taking more than he had before.
But his moment of awe at the beauty who caught his affections was cut short as a pang of jealousy ran cold in his veins.
"Dakoda! Dakoda!"
A new voice was brought to his ears one sounding soft when speaking the boy's name. What was the point of running for the affections of a taken boy? What was the point? he nearly hadn't heard Dakoda's response to being called-
"Yeah Mom? I'm just cleaning up, my shift is nearly over-"
"Kid, I've been waiting for you for at least five minutes."
The mysterious being came into view, and Roman could once again breathe easy. The beauty was not already taken by this person, Hopefully. The being, With bright fiery orange hair and tanned skin[All of which paled in contrast to the darker skinned beauty], seemed more as a parental figure, rather than a partner.
"Ah- Sorry- I got stuck- in a chair-" Dakota's voice dimmed as he admitted to being stuck.
"Again? Seriously, Ada- I think this is your third time this week. C'mon. Dan is waiting back at the apartment."
