"yea I guess you could say that" tori laughed.
she was really enjoying catching up with her mom because tori couldn't remember the last time they had a one on one conversation in person, without interruptions.
tori and her mom haven't always got along ,but tori still missed her. she was starting to think coming to chicago wasn't going to be all bad.

"now who is this basketball guy, I've been hearing you've gotten close too" tori's mom directly asked, which caught her off guard.
furrowing her eyebrows tori sat up in the bed.

"I may be old, but I lurk on the shaderoom from time to time. plus, yas and tia keeps me updated, since you don't ever call me anymore" she said, raising her eyebrows.
"maaa" tori dragged, not wanting to get on the topic of jimmy, especially with her mom.
"natori elise" her mom called.
"we are JUST friends, he's like the bro, that's it." tori lied, placing her hands over her face.
"he didn't sound like the bRo last night" yas blurted out of nowhere, from the other side of the room. tori had a feeling she wasn't really sleeping.
