tori stared out the window of the black suv, not wanting to look jimmy's way. she had finally agreed to hang out with him, but the vibe was off for one particular reason.

his phone had went off, indicating that he had gotten an text and it wasn't the first, second not even 3rd time it had gone off in the span of 5 minutes.

tori thought about saying something, but she didn't want to give off a jealousy aura because she had an probable idea of who it was setting his phone off like that.

the driver soon came to a stop at this restaurant. the plan was to get food, go back to his hotel, watch a movie and basically chill, but at this point she was annoyed.

"I'm goin' in to get the food" he announced and she nodded, not moving her attention from the window.

"you good" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows before leaving out the door.

"mhm" she lied, tapping her new acrylics on her thigh.

his phone lit up again, as he hopped out of the backseat. rolling her eyes, she proceeded to wait until the door closed before commenting something.

"am i really good ?" she sarcastically asked herself, as the door shut, causing the driver to let out a laugh.

"I know it's not any of my business, but I would feel a certain type of way too, if my boyfriend's phone went off like his" the girl spoke and a mug appeared on tori's face.

"yeaa.. he ain't my boyfriend" tori dully stated, trying her best not to be rude. but, that was what tori had to repeat in her head the whole ride.

"not my boyfriend"

"not my business"

"I don't care"

meanwhile, tori did care which frustrated the hell out of her. she couldn't believe out of all people, she was experiencing bitterness, something she hadn't been in years.

months ago, if someone would've told her she would be picking up feelings for a dude that belonged to someone else, she'd probably think that person was mentally ill. yet, here she was agitated because his own girlfriend was texting him.
