One Saturday
On a quiet Saturday's embrace, our destinies intertwined,
Her presence calling from the haven of our backyard.
By the window's ledge, she lingered,
Gazing through the weathered pane at the world beyond.A shroud of solemnity enveloped her,
Until moonlight's gentle touch graced her cheeks.
Her eyes, pools of warmth and joy,
A faint smile playing on her lips,
Leaving me spellbound in her glow.Today, our paths crossed once more,
Longing to muster the courage for a simple "Hi,"
Yet only managing a hesitant "Goodbye."I awoke with that memory etched in my thoughts,
As a new day unfolds,
My mind still lingering in the night,
Lost in the enchantment of that unforgettable Saturday.
