Silhouette

In the darkness, somber and cold,
Lost in shadows, our story untold,
My heart aches in the chill,
Confined in anguish, so real.

Trembling, shaken by pain's might,
Trapped in the depths of the night,
I stand frozen, unable to flee,
As the shadows envelop me.

In the dimness, your presence shines,
A flawless figure in my mind,
Even in the darkest hour,
Your light radiates with power.

But as the clock strikes midnight's tune,
You fade away too soon,
Vanishing from my sight,
Leaving me in the engulfing night.

Gasping, yelling in the dark,
Tears forming, leaving their mark,
In the mirror, my reflection stares,
Caught in a moment of despair.

Once more, you linger in my dream,
A bittersweet, fleeting gleam,
Your shadowed form, forever near,
In this realm of doubt and fear.
