Daminette frozen - Christmas special

Chapter 10: Runaway Queen

3rd person POV

Marinette bursts out of the castle door. The CITIZENS CHEER!

"There she is." The crowd says cheering. "Your Majesty! Long live the Queen!"

"Queen Marinette.... Come drink with us."

Marinette ducks through the crowd, holding her bare hand.

"Queen Elsa." One of the townsman says bowing.

"Your Majesty? Are you all right?" A towns woman with a baby asks. Marinette backs away from the baby. She knocks into the fountain, grabs its edge. The waters freeze into reddish pink ice at her touch. GASPS of shock and fear sweep over the crowd. Lila and thugs come out the door.

"There she is! Stop her!" Lila shouts her sausage hair getting blown by the wind.

"Please, just stay away from me." Marinette says to duchess Lila. "Stay away!" She shouts.Magic accidentally shoots from her hand and turns the staircase into ice. The thugs and the Duchess fall.

"Monster.... Monster!" Lila exclaims.

"She's not a monster" Jason says as the crowd begins to panic. That is not enough.

A snowstorm begins. With reddish pink snow. Marinette flees. Bridgette runs out of the palace doors, carrying the glove.

"Marinette" she shouts.

Adrien follows closely behind her. Marinette runs out of the gates and down to the water’s edge. The shoreline freezes under her feet.

Anna calls to her from the gates. ANNA (CONT’D)

"Marinette! Wait, please!" Bridgette desperately calls to her from the gates.

"Marinette come back" Jason shouts soon followed by the rest of his family. They had claimed this broken girl as their own. It was a family habit.

Marinette glances back at them, but turns away, afraid of hurting them. She tentatively steps out onto the fjord. It freezes instantly. She breaks into a run, as the water freezes over with each step.

"Marinette, stop!" Bridgette says rushimg out onto the fjord ice she slips, falls.

"Marinette" Stephanie shouts.

"Bridgette!" Adrien rushes to Anna’s side. Marinette reaches the far shore. She doesn’t look back. She just scrambles into the mountains.

"No." Brigette whispers to herself.

"You okay miss" Bruce asks.

"Yes but my sister--" she replies.

"Look.... The fjord." Adrien shouts in shock cutting her off . The ice spreads out until the entire fjord is frozen, locking the ships in place.

Snow falls. Adrien, Bridgette and the Wayne's move through the panicking crowd.

"Snow? It’s...snow...in July." Someone from the crowd says.

"Are you all right?" Adrien asks.

"No." Bridgette replies in shock.

"Did you know?" Adrien asks.

"No." Bridgette replies.

Nearby, the Duchess flutters about in fright.

"Look! It’s snowing! It’s snowing! pink snow! The Queen has cursed this land! She must be stopped!" Lila says. "You have to go after her." She says to his thugs.

"Shut up" Cass screams shocking her family.

"You are not going after anyone" Damian says pulling out his sword.

"And who are you to stop us" Lila snaps.

"The Wayne's" Stephanie says.

"Royal family of Gotham" Dick adds.

"And Marinette, Bridgette and the entire kingdom is protected by us" Jason says. "You may not exploit them in anyway.

"Is it written down in paper" Lila asks.

"Well no--" Babs says.

"Then get her" she shouts.

Bridgette rushes up to the Duchess.

"Wait, no!" Bridgette shouts rushing up to the Duchess. Lila hides behind her thugs and points out at Bridgette.

"You! Is there sorcery in you, too? Are you a monster, too?" The Duchess asks.

"No. No. I’m completely ordinary." Bridgette says.

"That’s right she is..." Adrien says realizing how that sounds "...in the best way." He adds making the Wayne's raise their eyebrows.

"And my sister’s not a monster." Bridgette defends her.

"She nearly killed me." Lila say.

"You slipped on ice." Adrien says.

"Her ice!" Lila says.

"It was f*cking self defense" Jason says getting tired of this girl.

"Get my horse" Bridgette shouts

"Where are you going" Adrien asks.

"To get back my sister of course" Bridgette says getting onto her horse.

"I'm leaving the Wayne's and Adrien in charge" Bridgette shouts.

"Well she does have a brain" Damian mumbles.

"You not going anywhere without me" Jason says calling for his horse.

"Don't forget me" Damian says coldly.

"Ohh" his family says.

"Shut up" he says hopping onto her horse.

They snap the reins and riding out. Adrien and the Wayne's watch after her.
