Why can't we be together

Chapter 3

BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!!! Ugh it's 7:00 am! I don't wanna get out of bed but then I rember my shopping trip after school! I'm so excited!!!! Okay I gotta get ready. I put on my white sweater with black leggings and black converse and decide to straighten my hair and of course put on my black squared glasses. I run down stairs put on my eos Chapstick and chove toast and eggs down my throught and grab my book bag and run out the door. My mom chases me down to the car and we head out because this is usually the time Hayes shows up for school. When we are half way there I pull down the car mirror and check out myself. I usually don't do this but now it's different boys are in my life.

Hayes (POV)
I say bye mom love you and get out of the car. 2 cars behind me was Julia a girl in my gym class. I guess she's cool she doesn't really talk much but she is gorgeous but doesn't know it. Anyways I'm dating this girl named Sophie starting yesterday she asked me out and I said sure. She seemed like a nice girl she's popular and has tons of friends and is the head cheerleader on the school squad and out side of school she cheers for cheer extreme. I guess you could say I got lucky with a girl like that but many people thinks shes rude and mean but I've never seen that side of her so fingers crossed

Julia's (POV)
Oh gosh I don't wanna get out of the car! I'm so nervous it's Hayes! But my mom yells that I'm holding up traffic! I just get out and walk behind him acting like I don't know it's him. To distract myself I start to play with my fingers I tend to do that when I'm nervous. He keeps looking back at me and I just keep playing with my fingers and she finally says " your Julia right? In my gym class? " I finally look back at him uhhhh yeah. That sounded stupid so I repeat my self. Yes I'm in your class 6th period everyday right? Yup he says. Then he says " well I have science first so see you in gym. " okay see ya. Omfg I just talked to Hayes!!!! I'm freaking out like OMG omg OMG !!!!

Sophie's (POV)
So I walk into school from a different entrence and I see Hayes talking to that shy girl Julia. They have gym together so I herd. She's beautiful actually prettier than me! I can let him keep talking to her he had that charm smile that let's you know that he will talk to you more than once because you are something special. He's never done that to me? I need to pick on her so much today so when I see my friends I will tell them to be so rude to her. This is gonna work she will look like a total loser!

Hayes ( POV)
So I talked to Julia today, she's a very kind girl but you can tell she likes me.. I kept trying to start a conversation but she just kept playing with your fingers and kept looking down the whole time. But in my defense it was kinda adorable how she did that. No ones really got that nervous about me before and I like it. I should talk to her more often she's a gorgeous girl and doesn't need to change she's perfect! Wait.... Dang it! What am I gonna do about Sophie!

Sophie's (POV) In car riders
" hey Hayes! " I say and skip over to him to make me look cute and innocent. " wanna come over and do home work today after school? " sure he responds so I text my mom and he texts his and they both agree so this is gonna work perfectly. When we arrive at my house we go up to my bed room and he says wow this is really nice! Thanks so we plop on my white couch in my room and start with our home work. When we finish we close our binders and put them into our silk north face book bags and set them aside. Then we just play on each other's phones and laugh and just have a great time. Then he asks if we can watch a movie on netflix on my flat screen in my room. I say sure so I grab my remote and I search through Netflix and we watch Triple Dog Dare just a classic from when we were kids it's a great movie. So we pay barely any attention and we scoot closer... He puts his arm around me and I sit on his lap. At the same time we look at each other and then he leans in! I thought I was gonna have to do all the work but no and then it's just sparks! His brother Nash comes perfect timing to come get him. But the whole point of that was him to forget about Julia! I'm pretty sure he did and I really don't like Hayes but I just am the head cheerleader and he's the head football player that's how it's suppost to go in the high school world. Plus Julia can't be more popular then me and Hayes would make her the queen of popularity!
