Chaeyeon's eyes roamed around the flat. Even though she was sitting awkwardly in the living room, her heart and brain weren't synchronised anymore.
"Damn it. Why I did say yes? You're really crazy now, Chaeyeon." Chaeyeon was having an inner fight while pinching the bridge of her nose.
She couldn't properly sit here. She felt anxious and bad for Sakura, who was busy in the kitchen. The younger of the two decided to walk to the kitchen. But something suddenly hit her when she saw Sakura. She stopped moving, her eyes stuck on the girl who was cooking. Sakura was almost breathtaking, standing here, focused on the food. It was a simple and daily task. But it didn't stop Cheayeon's heart from going crazy at the view.
She noticed that Sakura was having a hard time to open the jar. She didn't think twice and stepped forward to grab it. At the moment her fingers touched Sakura's, a shock ran across their hands. They immediately looked at each other, obviously surprised by the sudden sensation. Sakura panicked when her eyes meet Chaeyeon. She removed her hand in a second, dropping the jar she was still holding. It slipped away from Cheayeon's hand. The younger woman reacted quickly and caught it before it fell on the floor.
"Wow." Sakura let out, amazed by the fast move.
"Here." Chaeyeon gave the jar to her after opening easily.
"Thank you…" Sakura shyly answered, her eyes now avoiding Chaeyeon's.
"Do you need a hand? Maybe I could help for a bit." She didn't let Sakura answer. "Are you going to chop those green onions?" Chaeyeon could feel her heart beating quickly and loudly.
She felt weird for having a simple conversation with her crush. It was fascinating and scary at the same time. She liked it, she wanted to talk to her more, to hear her voice and her laugh, to catch every sight of her smile. It was like a dream, a dream she didn't dare to think of.
"No! No, no." Sakura quickly answered, the slight panic could be easily spotted in her tone. "It's f--” Chaeyeon didn't let her finish and grabbed the knife to help.
And there, a silence settled in. Sakura couldn't help but steal glances of Chaeyeon. The younger woman was focused, cooking seriously when Sakura had lost hers. But she didn't notice that Chaeyeon wasn't that focused neither. Every time Sakura looked away, she would stare at her for a short moment. She wondered if it was weird. But she didn't care after all. Sakura was beautiful.
Sakura's plan was to cook ramen, kimchi and an omelette. It was simple, and hopefully, she had all the ingredients for it, Sakura was the one who wanted to cook it. But in the end, Chaeyeon did most of the work. Sakura sat, enjoying the view, the view of a pretty Chaeyeon who was seriously cooking.
"Can you pass me the salt?" Chaeyeon asked Sakura, but there was no answer. So, she turned her head to look at the older girl.
Sakura was startled when her eyes meet Chaeyeon. And she snapped back to reality. "A-Ah… Yes? What did you say, Chaeyeon?" Surprised and embarrassed could be easily heard in her voice while her cheeks flushed in a shade of red.
"Salt… I need salt."
"Okay. Here." Sakura grabbed it to give to Chaeyeon.
.
.
.
"How is it? Is it good?" Chaeyeon waited for Sakura's answer. She would have been lying if she said she was impatient.
Sakura tried the kimchi and then took a bit of the omelette. She hummed slightly before giving her thought. "This is so good."
"Are you sure? Maybe it lacks of salt or something?" Chaeyeon asked in a worried tone.
"No, no. It's delicious. I wouldn't mind eating that every da--" Sakura stopped when she realised that she literally just said that she wanted Chaeyeon to cook for her every day. She thought she must be insane now, the audacity.
Both of them were suddenly feeling really awkward and embarrassed. Sakura's face flushed strongly while Chaeyeon's ears reddened, pretending not to have heard anything. They kept eating, and it was so quiet that only the sound of the clock could be heard.
.
.
.
"Nope. I'll wash the dishes. You just stay here." Sakura playfully jabbed Chaeyeon's shoulder, gesturing her room with her chin. "Just chill, lie down. It's okay. You must be tired."
"B-But Sakuchan--"
"No buts, I'll be right back." She closed the door and left Chaeyeon here.
"How could I lie down right after eating?" Chaeyeon mumbled quietly while she walked around Sakura's room.
She looked at the photos there. She is very lucky to have good parents and friends, Chaeyeon though, the tips her fingers touching the picture, an almost bitter smile on her lips.
After she roamed around Sakura's room, finally she lied down on the bed. She closed her eyes, her mind full of the recent events. Her life felt like a rollercoaster. Full of drama, and her tears started slowly to wet her cheeks.

.
"Chaeyeon… " Sakura slowly opened the door and peeked through the ajar door. She saw the younger woman on her bed "Chaeyeon..." She called her again with an even softer tone. She moved her hand over Chaeyeon's eyes to check if she was really asleep.
She must feel exhausted, Sakura thought. "I'm sorry for being a burden." Sakura whispered, a sad smile on her mouth. She couldn't lie by saying she had enough of staring at the brunette. She slowly moved Chaeyeon's bang that covered her face, feeling the smooth skin under her fingers. "I wish I could say it to you when you are awake. But I really, really like you. Am I dreaming right now? You are right in front of me. I've always thought that the graduation day was my last chance to get to know you. Thank you for showing yourself again in my life."
Sakura could hear the sound of the door's flat being opened quickly. She quickly stood up and reach the person who had just burst in her home.
"SAKUCHA--" Nako who looked excited to talk with Sakura got immediately interrupted.
Sakura shushed her. "Someone's sleeping."
"Sakuchan, you mean her?" Nako pointed out Chaeyeon, who was standing right behind Sakura. The latter was startled to see Chaeyeon here.
"I'm gonna go home now. Thank you for the meal. And good evening, Nako" Chaeyeon quickly said without looking at Sakura.
"Huh, hi Chaeyeon."
Sakura stared at Chaeyeon, her mind not wrapping around the situation. "B-But Chaeyeon, you were sleeping…" Sakura was so confused that she couldn't even talk properly.
"I'm leaving." Chaeyeon ignored her, almost ran off and closed the door immediately behind her.
"What just happened?" Nako seemed confused, but she smirked at Sakura, understanding that the two girls had spent time together.
"Stop looking at me like that." Sakura groaned loudly. "Ugh, I don't know." She ran to her bed and buried her head in her pillow. Her brain was a mess, she was definitely panicking. "What if she heard what I've said?" Sakura rolled from until the other side of the bed. She wished she could scream now. She just wanted to bury herself alive.

"Minjoo, are you ready to go now? Because I need to turn off the lights." Yujin looked at Minjoo who was still busy on her desk.
"It's okay, you can go home first. I'll finish this first."
Yujin started at Minjoo for a while and checked the time. She closed the door and walked away.
After some time, Minjoo was finally ready to go home. She turned off all the lights and went outside to lock the front door.
"Baahhhhh!!!" Yujin shouted, scaring the poor Minjoo who was focused on the door.
"Yujinnie!" Minjoo was about to playfully push the girl, but she ran away.
Minjoo sighed and walked away, but Yujin was like a puppy and kept following her.
"Why you keep following me, huh?" Minjoo turned around and pointed out the taller girl.
"Me? I'm not. Don't be too confident. We're just taking the same route." Yujin smirked, and older girl pouted with her answer.
Minjoo kept walking until she suddenly stopped. "I'm going for some drink, wanna join? It's okay if you don't want to." Minjoo didn't let the latter answer and just continued walking.
Yujin stopped walking, she couldn't lie that Minjoo looked cute. She couldn't hide her smile, and she wanted to pinch her cute cheeks so badly.
"Wait for me!" She ran towards Minjoo and grabbed her hand.
.
.
.
"What? Is there something on my face?" Minjoo innocently asked Yujin who was sitting right in front of her.
"Hmm… Yes. There is a pretty girl" Yujin cleared her throat, teasing her boss.
"Ya! Stop being like that. Just eat your ra--" Minjoo could barely hide her smile. She felt butterflies in her stomach. But her thought got interrupted by her phone. Not only hers but also Yujin's. They both picked up at the same time.
"Minjoo... I'm gonna die."
"Yujin... Kill me now."
.
.
.
.
"What? Seriously!?" Yujin and Minjoo got surprised together even though they were now at different places. Yujin was at Chaeyeon's and Minjoo was in Sakura's room. Both of them told everything what had just happened that day.
The information was quite something, of course, Yujjn was so happy for her friend. She thought she was going to live alone with Prost forever. She didn't think that the brunette was going to have a love story. She had a lot of ideas in mind. She couldn't hide her excitement for this.
.

"Chaeyeon, let's go. Why are you taking so long? The movie is going to start soon. We need to buy food first." Yujin hurried Chaeyeon who was busy preparing all the things for Prost before leaving him.
"Okay, I'm done now."
"Wait, wait, wait. You're really gonna go with that outfit? Change now. I've already prepared this pink sweater and that skirt for you."
"Why should I?"
"Because I pay for the tickets and the popcorn…? So just listen to me."
"Nope. I'll stay at home, then."
Yujin groaned. "Alright, alright. Just dress however you want except with a black hoodie."
So, Chaeyeon happily wore her casual black t-shirt and jeans. They rushed to the movie and obviously didn't forget to buy a big bucket of popcorns and drinks.
"Don't you think we bought too much? We can't have four coke by ourselves. " Chaeyeon asked Yujin, wondering why there were so many empty seats. It was not that crowded, maybe because it was a horror movie.
"Ssshhh... Silence."
The movie started, the lights turned all off. Suddenly two girls walked near their seats and sat. It was dark, Chaeyeon couldn't see their faces. The bright screen illuminated one of the girls, and Chaeyeon's jaw dropped.
"Fu--"
