Manny and Y/n were walking a couple of steps behind Sid, who was carrying the baby in his arms, as he decided that he would be the one to take the baby back to his family. Y/n was unsure of Sid carrying the baby, he was quite clumsy and who knows what Sid will decide to do.

"I'll return you. We don't need that meany-weeny mammoth, do we? No we don't." Sid cooed to the baby.

The two watched as Sid began to make his way to the waterfall rocks. Y/n gasped in horror as Sid proceeded to start climbing the rocky wall, with the baby in his arms, struggling up on his way to the top.

Y/n eyed Sid warily as he clumsily attempted to scale the cliff.

"You're an embarrassment to nature, y'know that?" Manny shouted to Sid.

Sid wasn't even half up, but he was high enough where if he dropped the baby, he would surely die. "This is cake. I'm fine, I'm fine. I'm gonna die." She heard Sid say. The two moved closer to the rocky wall, just in time to see that the baby started to fall. "MANNY!" The baby started falling and Manny tried to catch him but than a another saber tiger jumps in and grabs him, then Manny grabs the baby out of It's teeth.

The tiger took a swipe but all it took was for Manny to glare at him for the tiger to back away once he realised what he was challenging.

The male saber cleared his throat and spoke, " Um... That pink think thing is mine." Y/n narrowed her eyes, she had a feeling in her guts that he was lying. After all, she knew that sabers never got along with humans - ever.

Out of the corner of her eye, Y/n saw Sid trying to climb up to the humans' campsite, "Uh, no. Actually that pink thing belongs to us." Then he proceeded to fall down on his head, making Y/n wince at the sight.

"'Us'? You three are a bit of an odd trio." The male said causing Y/n to get a little annoyed by his behaviour. He was speaking like a know-it-all.

Manny turned to Sid, "There is no "us"! Other than Y/n and I."

"I see. Can't have one of your own, so you wanna adopt." The tiger said, regarding to the baby.

"Look, I'm sorry to interrupt your snack, but we gotta go." Sid said whilst he dragged the baby away from the suspicious saber.

"The baby? I was returning him to his herd." The tiger answered, causing Y/n to roll her eyes. Liar.

"Oh yeah, nice try, bucktooth." Sid scoffed sarcastically.

"You calling me a liar?" The saber asked, getting into Sid's face intimidatingly.

"I didn't say that." Said answered nervously as he tried to escape the male's gaze.

Y/n stood up from where she sat and moved a bit closer; incase she had to react.

"You were thinking it." The saber growled, causing Sid to lean closer to Manny and Y/n.

"I don't like this cat. He reads minds." He whispered to the duo.

"Name's Diego, friend." The saber introduced himself calmly.

"Manfred. And this is Y/n. And I'm not your friend." Manny said back.

Diego eyed Y/n for a brief second before looking up at the mammoth once more. "Fine, Manfred. If you're looking for the humans they're wasting your time. They left this morning." Diego told the three.

"Thanks for advice. Now beat it!" Y/n snarled, causing Diego to look over at her. The two stared each other down, but what ticked Y/n the most was that Diego had the nerve to not only give her a cheeky smirk, but he winked at her as well.

Y/n growled but luckily Manny's voice brought her back to life. "All right, we'll help you bring him to his herd, but promise me that you'll leave me and y/n alone after that?" Manny told Sid before the trio started to walk again.

"Okay! Okay, deal! Hey, what's your problem?!" Sid asked annoyed, causing to Manny side-glance him.

"You were my problem." Manny answered him bluntly, causing Y/n to chuckle.

"Well, I think you're stressed. That's why you eat so much. I mean, It's hard to get fat on the vegan diet." Sid replied, causing Y/n to respond for Manny.

"He's not fat. It's all this fur, it makes him look poofy." Manny send Y/n a look of gratitude, knowing that he can always rely on his close sibling-like best friend.

"All right. You have fat hair but when you're ready to talk, I'm here." Sid said.

"I don't need to talk to you, I have Y/n for that." His comment made Sid give him a look of pure offence, and Y/n couldn't hold in her snicker.

She then started to wonder about something.
