Millie left the crystallized building and entered her car as soon as work ended, Finn in toll behind her. The smirk on her face drove him crazy. She thought that she had him wrapped around her finger, Finn disagreed. She had him following her like a puppy so, who was truly wrong.Finn entered the car after Millie, sitting next to her. Millie gave him a sour look on instant but it faded into a smile.
"Please" She said in a nice tone, "Go sit in the front next to the driver." Despite not wanting to, Finn obliged. He got out of the car and into the front seat speedily. The driver nodded at him.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Wolfhard," the driver smiled at Finn.
"Marco, you can call him Finn," Millie said with a smile. Finn didn't look back, he knew Millie was looking at him. He had to fight the urge. He liked looking at her, the symmetry of her face made her beautiful.
The drive was surprisingly short. It made sense to Finn that she wouldn't live far away from her office. She likes to mix her and her personal life. Yet Finn knew very little of her personal life.
Little did Finn know the surprise that would be at her house. The one so called mistake of her career that even the tabloids don't know about. The thing that makes Millie wake up in the morning.
When the door opened to Millie's car, Finn was in shock. Her mansion was gorgeous, much like Millie. Everything was extraordinary.
"You like?" Millie asked. Finns awe of disbelief was enough of an answer. "Come along then."
They walked into the mansion and went up the giant staircase. It was marble, like her work, with lots of glass windows. These windows were blackout, so she could see the outside but they couldn't see the inside. Finn realized she probably did it so she got the view and they didn't see her.
At the end of the hallway to the left was her room, a gold plaque hung on the door, similar to the one at her office. Like her office, there was a silver plaque on the room next to hers. It read Elle. Who the hell is Elle?
Millie took a step back in front of the silver plaque room. She turned around and faced Finn. "I just want to know I can trust you." The brown haired girl looked as if she was pleading with him.
He noticed how tired she looked. The light in her eyes was gone, she was only nineteen. Her face was a little dragged down and her eyes had bags under them. It's a shame, really. She shouldn't have to go through this as a teenager.
"You can trust me" He smiled at her. Reluctantly, the girl turned around. She let out a sigh, and walked up to the door, turning the knob slowly.
"Mommy!" A little girl ran to Millie and hugged her around the knees. Finn noticed how similar she looked to Millie. Her brown hair reacher her shoulders and was curly at the ends. Her skin was a little tanner then Millie's. Her eyes had that light in them and her smile was contagious.
"Elle, honey, I want you to meet someone." Elle finally looked up at Finn, almost stumbling backwards trying to look up at the 6 foot man. "This is your Uncle Finn. He will be staying with us for a while. He's gonna stay across the hall from you, okay?"
Uncle? Finn pondered at how Millie saw him if she was willing to let her daughter call him uncle.
Elle's smile got wider. "Hi Uncle Finn! Nice to see you!" Finns heart melted. Of course, she was adorable. She looked nothing like Jacob, good for the baby since he's ugly and an ass.
"Okay, Elle you can keep playing. I'll see you at dinner in a few minutes." Millie smiled and waved to her daughter. Finn looked at the two of them mesmerized. It was like watching a movie.
