1 week later

Caleb decided to give Sadie a ride to work on Monday morning. He's her boyfriend now so why wouldn't he. Caleb worked nights as a security guard at different kinds of high class night clubs and concerts. It's how he and Sadie met actually.

It was Millie's 18th birthday party. From what he could remember, the dashing red head stood out among the crowds of people. She was always right next to the famous entrepreneur, so Caleb was rightfully intimidated. Eventually, Sadie was alone and Caleb offered her a chaperone to the bar. They hit it off over some cocktails and the rest is history.

When they walked into that marble building, Millie was nowhere to be found.

"That's strange, she's always the first one here," Sadie said with a puzzled expression. "Maybe she's already in her office?"

"Let's go check. I love that elevator. I'll take any chance to ride in it."

Sadie leaned closer to him, whispering, "It makes it feel like you're in a spaceship right?"
Caleb's eyes lit up.

"Yes! How'd you know?"

"You talked about it in your sleep,"

"Damn it, sleep brain," Caleb said as he clicked the elevator button.

They went up the elevator in silence, not wanting to show PDA to whoever could possibly be on the other side of the door. They walked down the hallway together, hearing noises from Millie's office.

They knocked on the door and all the noises stopped.

"Should we go in?" Sadie asked her boyfriend.

"Yeah, I think we should," Caleb said as he started to open the door.

"Oh my, Finnie, you make me laugh," Millie said as she stared at Finn, who was sitting i. the chair across from her.

"It's what I do best," Finn said as he turned around, staring at the confused couple.

"I thought you hated each other!" Sadie yelled as she ran over to Millie. The tan girl simply laughed her off.

"I couldn't possibly hate anyone,"

"What! That's just not true Mills. One week ago, you wanted nothing to do with him. It simply can't change that fast" Sadie practically screamed.

"Babe, I think you need to calm down," Caleb said, putting his reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Fine, but I need to talk to," She pointed her finger at Finn, "you."

"Me?"

"You!" Sadie whisper yelled as she started walking out of the room.

"I thought you were the nice one," Finn said as he followed her out.

Caleb walked over to a shocked Millie. He sat on her desk and stared at her, until she picked her head out of her hands.

"She wants the best for you, Mills," Caleb said in a soft voice. He slid from the top of the desk into the chair, where Finn once was.

"But she knows Finn. You know Finn, probably better then anyone. I'm with him 24 hour a day, 7 days a week. We were bound to come around at some point."

"She just doesn't want you to get hurt when he leaves," Caleb said, immediately regretting it.

"Leaves?" Millie stood up, "What do you mean, leaves?"

"He always leaves." Caleb said as he stood up. "Finn doesn't like getting too comfortable. He will disappear for a few months and the act like it never happened."
