Today, was a little day for Mondo. But he wasn't in LittleSpace however. He was in Babyspace!
When Mondo slips he usually falls into Babyspace. Both him and Taka didn't know why, but both of them didn't seem to mind.

Mondo was being really good today, he wasn't fussy at all which was great! So, Taka decided to reward him with a small gift he bought for him awhile ago..

Taka went to his bedroom closet, and tried to find the special gift for his baby boy.
"Cmon... I know it's here some where.."
Half of Taka was proud that he hid it so well, and the other half was mad at himself because he forgotten where he had put the special item.

But soon enough, he had found what he was looking for!
"Aha! Found it!" He smiled proudly when he pulled out the gift.
What he had gotten Mondo was a cute, big, Shiba Inu plushie! He remembered when him and Mondo went to the Store together, and the plushie had caught his eye..

~Flash Back~

Mondo was staring at a certain plushie that had caught his eye, it was almost amazing at how long he was looking at it. And a certain Hall Monitor started to notice..
"Hey Mondo, what are you staring at?"
Mondo turned around rather quickly,

"Oh! U-um.. I'm just... thinking!" Taka raised an eyebrow at him. He knew whenever Mondo stutters, he's usually hiding something. So Taka started to analyze the area to figure out what he could be looking at.
Taka's eyes suddenly met with the plushie area, and it all started to become a little clear. He wasn't sure if that was it, but there no hurt in trying right?

"Were you looking at.. the plushies Mondo?" Taka asked, a pink blush started to appear across Mondo's cheeks.
"W-what? Hell no..!! Why would I be looking at.. kids toys.." Mondo looked away from Taka embarrassed.

"Babe you don't have to lie, just tell me the truth" Mondo blushed even more..

He started to point to a stuffed animal, covering his face with his other hand.
Taka found it pretty cute when Mondo got all flustered, it doesn't happen often however, usually it's the other way around between the two.

"Hm.. so he wants to stuffed animal?"

"How adorable..."

Taka hid the stuffie behind his back so Mondo woudnt see it right away, he was so excited to surprise him!!
He started to make his way to the living room, and when he arrived, he couldn't help but "awe" at the sight.

He saw Mondo in a baby blue hoodie, his hair was in a playful man bun as well! He had a black pacifier in his mouth, he was coloring in his coloring book, he looked like he was having lots of fun in his own little world.

Taka walked up to Mondo, and sat down beside him.
"Hey sweetheart, what are you doing?" Taka asked, Mondo simply pointed to the coloring page.

"Ohh! Your drawing looks so pretty baby!" Mondo giggled and continued to color.

"Sweetheart, I have a surprise for you!" Taka said enthusiastically, Mondo dropped his crayon and gave his full attention to Taka. Mondo started to make small babbles, curious of what his papa had in store for him.

"Alright, close your eyes for a moment sweetie."
Mondo tilted his head in confusion, because of his state of mind, he didn't really know what that meant.

"Oh, I'm sorry sweetie." Taka raised his hands to his eyes, "Do what papa's doing!" Mondo giggled, and placed his hands on his eyes.

"No peeking okay?" Mondo nodded quickly, bouncing up and down a little. He was so excited! Taka held the stuffed animal in his hands, and held it close to Mondo.

"Okay! You can peak now!" Mondo quickly removed his hands from his face, and as soon as he did...
His eyes sparkled with pure joy!! Mondo made grabby hands to the plushie, making happy babbles once again.
Taka chuckled, "Here you go sweetheart"
He handed Mondo the plushie, and Mondo hugged it right away!!

"Pup! Pup!" Mondo was trying his best to say puppy, but he wasn't succeeding very well. Taka found this cute however, whenever Mondo got happy he would have a complete giggle fit! It's so adorable to him!

"Do you like your surprise baby?" Taka asked, and Mondo nodded fast. He was already starting to make the plushie dance,
"Da da~ da da!~" He was trying to make a melody of his own, how cute could he possibly be?!

But he soon came to a sudden stop, and made grabby hands to Taka.
"Ishi Ishi!!" Taka smiled, and pulled Mondo into a hug.

Mondo was making cute, happy noises in Taka's arms.. he was so happy he had gotten the plushie!

Taka smiled and kissed Mondo's cheek,

"I'm glad you like your gift, sweetie.."

Okay I gotta admit- this oneshot has to be one of my favorites that I've written so far- idk why but I like writing about Babyspace! Mondo. It's so fun 🥺
