{Michael's P.O.V}

After his chat with Gavin's parents, the next day he returned to work. When he walked through the doors, he was greeted with something odd.

He saw Geoff lying on the couch and talking on the phone as if he was a teenage girl.

"Glad the con's going well.... Yeah... Work's alright too! Mhm... The fucking office is a mess without you. Since you're like our structure. Yeah. ... Hahaha! Really?! Wow, Ryan's an idiot. Can't believe it either. Mhm... Mhm... Oh! Wait! Rage Quit Jones is back! Call ya later. Yeah... bye..." Geoff said as he hung up and settled his phone on the arm rest.

"Who... was that?..." Michael questioned as he walked towards his desk and turned on his computer.

"Oh. No one." Geoff shrugged off and he laid back down on the couch. Michael scoffed at him and smirked.

"No. Really. Who the hell was it?" He persisted for an answer.

"It was Jack. No big deal." Geoff nonchalantly replied with a soft smile and a light blush. He got up from the couch and began to stretch before settling back down at his desk and drank more of his coffee.

"No big deal? Dude, you're on the next level. What's next? Marriage?" Michael teased and began to place his headphones around his neck.

Geoff rolled his eyes and groaned loudly.

"Jones, just because I'm fucking calling a co-worker, doesn't mean I want to suck his dick." Geoff remarked back, as he turned his X-Box on.

"Ha. A sudden turn of events say otherwise!" He yelled out at Geoff. That's when Geoff paused.
Wait, what the hell is he talking about? Geoff asked himself before turning to Michael, who was wearing a shit eating grin that was plastered all over his face.

"The fuck are you talking about?" He asked in a stern and serious tone. His eyebrows scrunched together as he eyed the Jersey boy.

Michael turned his chair around to face Geoff.

"It's fucking obvious. You're always calling Jack, picking on him, laughing at his jokes, and hanging out with him often." Michael listed, as he didn't break eye contact with Geoff.

He raised an eyebrow at Michael and began to laugh a cancer-curing laugh.

"Wow, you're a fucking idiot! I'm calling him since I'm concerned that the con's not running well, I pick on everyone, He says some funny shit, and he's my friend! What?! I can't fucking go over and have a few drinks and play Halo?! Damn, you look to deep into things. Gavin's gotten to your head!" Geoff retorted quickly and without missing a beat.

"Dude, no need to get so fucking defensive." Michael said. Geoff quickly got up and turned to Michael.

"I don't like Jack!" Geoff yelled as he was about to head out the door with his coffee mug in hand.

Michael immediately flinched at his sudden raise in voice.

"When the fuck did I say you did?" He said.

Geoff stared at him in defeat and immediately walked out the door while still holding his mug. His face was a bright pink and a scowl painted his face. Just as he was walking down the door, Michael heard something echo down the hallway.

A good ol' "Fuck you!" from Geoff. In the office, all you heard was Michael laughing until he heard a phone go off.

Turning his head to the origin of the sound, an IPhone laided there on Geoff's desk.

He quickly stared at the door, as he attempted to make sure Geoff wouldn't walk in. Once the coast was clear, he immediately ran to Geoff's phone and pressed the home button.

On the lock screen, there was a text message.

Hey Geoff! After I come back from the convention, wanna come over to my place?

From none other than Jack Pattillo.

Michael grinned widely as he began to type a response. He saw Geoff's passcode before. So it was good.

Yeah sure! Also, I need to ask you something. Wanna go out on a date some time?

Michael wasn't even going to press send. It was more of a joke than anything. But a loud boom echoed throughout the room. He looked up and saw Geoff standing at the door, and his eyes were burning with rage.

"What are you doing with my phone?!" Geoff roared at him. He immediately began charging towards him and snatched the phone out of his hands and Michael barely noticed. When he snatched it, an almost inaudible sound of a text being sent was heard.

Geoff's eyes scolled back and forth reading the messages. That's when his face began to a bright red. Is it out of anger or embarrassment? Who knows? The only thing Michael knew was that he was fucked.

"Michael! No! Did you fucking send that message?!" Geoff screamed at him. He flinched and closed his eyes as if he bracing for an impact.

"No! I only wrote it in the message box! I didn't even fucking send it!" Michael defended. Geoff's eyes widened.

"Then, why does it look like I sent it?!" He yelled again. He shoved his phone into Michael's face. Michael tried to make out what was going on. That's when he saw the message that he wrote was actually sent to Jack.

"I swear to Christ! I didn't send it! I just wrote it!" Michael retorted as he raised his hands.

"Wait. Shit! I accidentally sent it! I'm fucked!" Geoff called out as he began to pace back and forth.

Indistinguishable words began to flow out of Geoff's mouth. Michael just watched with guilt as his boss, his co-worker, his friend panicked over something stupid he did.

"Look, I'm really sorry! That was fucked up for me to do! Just tell Jack that it was by mistake and you didn't mean to send it!" Michael reasoned with the man.

Geoff continued to ramble on and on in fear on what is he going to do. Until the sound of his phone going off again stopped both men cold in their tracks.

Geoff immediately froze in place and Michael quickly stopped talking. Geoff slowly lifted up his phone as if the phone was one of the heaviest things he has ever lifted.

Michael ran behind him to look. He pressed the home button and saw the message.

Wait. Are you actually serious? Or is this a joke?...

Michael sighed since there's a chance to take it all back.

"Are you going to take it back?..." He slowly asked. All Geoff did was sit back down in his chair and began to type. Michael also sat back down at his own chair, as he idly stared at Geoff.

After a while, Geoff locked his phone and placed it on his desk. He cupped his hands into his face as if he was hiding them.

"What did you do?" Michael asked, as he broke the sudden silence. But he just realized something. Geoff's actions were over the top. Not like the typical 'on camera' over the top. But just strange.

Geoff simply shook his head up and down, and his face was still in his hands.

Michael weirded out by Geoff's sudden emotions, he turned back to his computer and found a file for the Rage Quit he forgot to edit. Placing on his headphones on, he began to work. That's when he heard a scream. Or was it a squeal? He simply shook his head and ignored it.

A loud crash came the door. Ray came to work, and his face had no emotion. He walked towards the couch, face planting on it.

Michael turned around and saw both of the coworkers hiding their faces. He quickly whipped out his phone and texted Gavin.

There's something extremely fucking wrong with Ray and Geoff.

{Hey! Look! I introduced a sub-plot! Are you proud of me, mom?! Poor excuses for comedy aside, I just wanted some excuse to add Geoff and Jack (kinda) into the mix. Why? Well.... Eh... Who knows. We never really get much of a chance to add other members of Achievement Hunters into the mix. One of my more prouder parts since Admin 1 is no where to be seen in this chapter. Anyway, have a nice day and happy shipping! -Admin 2}
