I was doing my work for my mother as the random thought of my friend Skeppy appeared. I wanted to know where he went and why he left but I should be over with it since it was 4 years ago but I just couldn't forget a good friend. I sighed and went to the work I was told to finish. As I was working my dog came in her name was Lucy but I liked to call her Rat. She gave me joy when Skeppy left. But my smile fell when the thought of Skeppy might be gone for good.

Knock.......knock

"Yes."

"May I come in?"

"Yes."

It was my mother checking up on me like she usually does. She looked over at my shoulder to see if I was done with my work I was almost. She smiled and told me dinner was gonna be ready soon. I felt happy cause I might be able to finish my work before then. I went back to work or was about me doing something with the other kingdoms nearby. I never cared for the other kingdom but my mother did for some reason. I think it was about trading or peace. My mother made me the decider since my father was I'll and he needed a lot of rest which we all gave him. I hummed to myself as I went to the next question. It read:

If our kingdom were to betray you what would you do?

What would I do? I would ask why but if they wouldn't answer I guess war. I never wanted war from other kingdoms because I would fail at it I would get too scared. I huffed and went on.

Depending on the trade would you do it?

Well yes, but it also counts on what they want for the trade to happen. I'm very cautious on those things. I guess im very cautious because my mother would get scammed a lot.

If a family member would die and you had to take the place would you do it?

I wouldn't have a choice if it was my dad but maybe from my mother. Anyway I would take that offer I mean I am almost 18 so I needed to get my mind straight. Okay, last question.

Would you tower over kingdoms for more power?

Of curse not I'm not that type of person. I want peace, not war nor towering. But I guess my opinion can't matter since older people who want power wouldn't listen to a puny person like me. I get it too my words overpower are very meaningless. When I finished my work my mother told me to go to her like normal. I got up and started looking for my mother.

"Hey do any of you know where my mother is?"

"We haven't seen her anywhere." Said one of the maids. This bothered me cause where would my mother go off to.

"Thank you anyway."

I went back to looking for her first place I checked was her bedroom. Nothing there. Then her knitting room. She wasn't there at all. I checked the kitchen, library, her workroom, and all the bathrooms. She wasn't anywhere in those rooms. I kept looking which made me out of breath. When I finished the first 2 floors and went up to the third which she's never there unless it's important but I didn't mind that I just needed to find her because if I don't she'll get mad at me because she will think I didn't do my work which I did. As I was looking onto the third-floor one of the maids asked me why I was here.
