Chapter 24

I awoke in pain as I felt my hand being tied to something. No one was around me but I realized I was in some sort of cell. My head was pounding and I moved my arms to see how tight the chains were and I figured that I was stuck in here with confusion and fear. As I waited for something or someone to come I tried getting my hands out of bars. I wasn't able to do it and I got scared quickly. I didn't say a word too anxious to. More passed and I felt like I was being watched but couldn't see their face. I shook my head back and forth and waiting once more.

"Why hello Bad."

I raised my head from the noise I heard and there they were standing in front of me and it was my mother. Deep cold stare with an urge to hurt someone. Her dead eyes gazed at me as I stared in shock.

"You must hate me for this but I had to."

"Why?"

"Well...I did for my deal and you know your friend had to be taken care of these years and we didn't kill him but you could go back to him and I can't have you do that so I locked you in here and I use injection so you couldn't use your powers."

"Why did all of this happen?"

I was on the verge of tears waiting for her cold mouth to speak.

"I did it for the power of course and you'll have to agree to it at some point or our kingdom is going to fall due to your stupid acts."

"Couldn't we just defend ourselves?"

"We had an enemy that we couldn't control so once they left alone for a bit we had It figure something and the king was hoping for peace but when he fell ill I took matters into my own hands."

"I never heard for this."

"That's because our people try to hide the fact that they lost loved ones to the beast the lives within this world."

"Can't you try to make a peace offering?"

"We haven't but none of our soldiers are good so we live in fear."

I stood in silence wishing I could be let free.

"When can I leave?"

"When I need you to."

I went back to being silent and tracking my thoughts about this situation. There has to be a way for me to escape and go back to Skeppy. I can't get too Good since my powers are gone for a while. Even so, I don't know if Good is even okay since mother is still around. I honestly don't know if Good even has the advanced demon powers he would never talk about it and I never mentioned it. I just hope Good can figure something out. There no point in me trying anyways. I stared at my asleep body as I question my mother when she meant 'when I need you to' such a weird sentence there's nothing really important to my mother now that Skeppy is back. There are a million things that are going to happen probably most of them bad.

I and my sister arrived at our destination and I didn't like the feeling of this place. This was going to be a long day might as well get prepared. I shook my head and looked over at my sister who looked like she wanted to leave.

"You okay?"

She snapped back into reality and focused her eyes on me. I felt awkward from the tension.

"I hate this but let's go."

"Alright."

Skepina knocked and the king opened the door. The man looked confused but focused his on my sister and not me. Thank God for that.
