I knock on the huge door in front of me, Yamato standing close behind.

"Come on in sweetheart no need to knock!"

I smile and open the door and spot my mother and father, sitting at a small table with four chairs and tea. I walk inside hand-in-hand with Yamato, the two of us smiling.

"It's nice to see you again mother! You too father! I've missed you guys so much!"

"We missed you too darling!"

I let go of Yamato's hand and go up to my mom and dad, hugging them. Yamato then comes up from behind me and holds out his hand to my father, which he shakes.

"It's a pleasure to see you again."

"I see you still make my princess smile! It's a pleasure to see you too Yamato!"

They both smile. Okay, call me curious, but I have a feeling they have something planned. How I can tell? My father is smiling a lot more than usual. So is my mother. I watch as Yamato goes up to my mother and leans down giving her a quick hug.

"You look beautiful as ever."

"Why thank you Yamato. Please, take a seat you two."

We both do as told, taking the two empty seats next to each other. My mother offers us tea, but we refuse.

"So how are you two?"

"We're doing great mother."

"Married yet?"

I blush deeply. Of course not father you don't see a ring do you? I think to myself. I glance at Yamato, and I'm quite surprised. Usually when someone mentions 'marriage' he would be blushing and stuttering on his words, but now...

"No, no. Not yet anyway."

"Yet?!"

I almost choke on air. He's talking so calmly. I know I might be exaggerating, but it's just so weird. Yamato has told me many, many times before that he wants to marry me, but I never knew if he was playing around. This is making me change my mind...

"Of course Hoshi. I never lie."

He smirks at me. Oh my god I have to be imagining this.

"Hm. Well then, before my daughter burst with embarrassment, how are your friends? What about Kuni? And your brother Hoshi?"

"Mother calm down a second."

We all laugh and continue talking. I feel really comfortable. It's like I never left. I'm also very happy to see my parents again. I glance at Yamato from time to time, and he too seems comfortable.

This makes me happy, because it's like we're all a little family, laughing and talking like this, it's enough to make me smile. After we talk for a while, Jin comes in.

"Hello there Jin."

"Hello mother, father. I see the little princess and Yamato are here."

"I'm not little!"

He smiles and comes up to me and ruffles my hair chuckling.

"Well in my eyes you still are."

"Not fair Jin."

I cross my arms and pout as Jin pulls up a chair to join our conversation. I hear Yamato say something, but I don't know what it is he said.

"Say something?"

"Yeah. I said Pouty."

"Don't call me pouty..."

"Pouty."

I giggle. Okay, sometimes I don't like when he calls me Pouty, but it's a nickname he came up with when we first met. But, he does know I also have a nickname.

"Alright fine...Yammy."

He furrows his brows, pouting and doesn't say I word. We all laugh and continue talking. The 'marriage' subject comes up again, but Yamato still just acts normally. Strange enough, my parents and Jin keep bringing up the marriage subject. This is making me very suspicious.

They have something planned, i know it.

------

I walk into my old room, slowly sitting down on the big bed. I'm in here alone, since Yamato said he had to meet the guys somewhere to do who knows what. I was pretty tired, so I didn't ask much about it. All I wanted to do is lay down and sleep, cause I got jet leg bad. I sigh as I slowly lay down, curling into a ball on my bed.

I got a few hours to kill before it's time for the party my parents are planning for my birthday. I did notice a lot of butlers and maids were outside, decorating and such.

My mother and father told me that first, I would go out into town and walk around, enjoy myself. Because apparently, everyone has decorated the streets and houses in town in celebration, because they all somehow found out that I simply adore decorations. Especially ones that light up everywhere, like the ones Uncle sets up during Christmas.

I start to slowly fall asleep as memories flood my head. I notice Yamato walk in at one point and slowly slide in bed with me, wrapping his arms around my body. I smile and snuggle against him.

"Sleep well Pouty."

I mumble a soft 'i love you' before drifting off to sleep.
