Break Ups and Make Ups

Part 2

I wake up the next morning and instantly felt depressed again. I woke up in a different room without Yamato there with me. I didn't wake up to his arms wrapped around me. God,it's hardly been one day and I already miss the crap out of him. I look over at the time. 11:15 am. I guess Uncle let me sleep in. I smile slightly and stand up. I neaten out the bed and walk out the room. I'm not even gonna bother looking at my hair. When I arrive downstairs,I see Ren and Saeki. Ren turns his head and looks at me.

"Morning Hoshi!"

"Good morning Hoshi."

"Morning..."

I reply to them. I look around a bit and sit next to Ren looking up at him.

"Ren,where's Uncle?"

"He went out to get some groceries. He'll be back."

I nod. I'll thank him later.

"Are Takao and Yuta working right now?"

"Yep."

I should thank them too. Oh! I almost forgot! I grab Ren and Saeki and hug them both.

"...thank you for everything yesterday. Both of you..."

I whispered. I let them go smiling up at them. As soon as I did though,Saeki pulled me back hugging me tight.

"You are very welcome Hoshi~!"

"Ah! Saeki!"

I giggled when he squeezed me. He finally let me go,and then Ren smiled his rare smile and ruffled my hair. As if it wasn't already a mess. I smile back. We all sit down and start chatting again when Uncle walks in the door. Being the little kid I am,I didn't even give Uncle a chance to take 3 steps inside before I ran up hugging him. When I did that,it reminded me of when I was younger. When I used to see Uncle walk in. I used to be so happy to see him,I ran up and hugged him,basically suffocating him. I did that now too,and he almost fell over. I hugged him tight.

"Woah! Hoshi?!"

"...Thank you for yesterday Uncle. Thank you..."

I heard a small little chuckle escape from him as he put down the grocery bags and wrapped an arm around me.

"You are very welcome. You're my niece. I had to help you out."

I smiled and let go. He took off his hat and put it on my head and bent down grabbing the groceries. I giggled and went up behind Ren. He was sitting down,so I was able to take off the hat and put it on him. He turned to look at me and poked my forehead.

"You're not five."

"I know. But I still like doing that."

He shakes his head but keeps the hat on anyway. When Uncle comes back to me,he hands me a bag. I look inside and it has nicely folded clothes of mine,and even my favorite pair of shoes. Uncle probably went to Yamato's house to grab this for me. I look up at him.

"He wasn't home. I had a key,so I went in a grabbed you some clothes for the time being. Okay?"

He ruffled my hair and went back into the kitchen. I quietly turned around and walked upstairs to the room I slept in. I put the bag on top of the bed.

'I guess for the time being,I'll be staying here. That's if he ever talks or sees me again...'

I shake my head to clear out the negative thoughts. He'll be back. I know him all too well.

Well...I hope I do.

After putting the clothes in the drawers I head back downstairs,my hair fixed and different pair of clothes. I see Takao and Yuta downstairs chatting with everyone else. I smile and run up to them hugging them.

"Oh,hi there Hoshi."

"Woah! Hey Hoshi!"

"Thank you guys for yesterday. I owe you guys."

Takao and Yuta looked at me with kind smiles as I pulled away. Yuta puts his arm around my shoulders and chuckles. It makes me think about how if Yamato was here,he would get mad and tell Yuta to back off.

"It's not a problem really! But Hoshi,I got you something~!"

"Huh? What is it?"

"Close your eyes~!"

I'm curious but close my eyes anyway. Yuta takes my hand and put something on them. It's soft and big enough to fit in my hands. I open my eyes slowly,and I see the cutest little stuffed penguin I've ever seen. I smile like a kid who just opened their Christmas present.

"Yuta! It's adorable! I love it!"

"Yay! I'm glad! I was pondering whether you like penguins,or pandas,so I went with my gut and chose the penguin."

"Well you're right!"

I hug the little stuffed penguin and smile. These guys are being so kind. They really are just the bestest of friends. I smile happily at everyone,hoping that they'd get my message. They all smile back. They got it alright.

"...guys. I really can't thank you guys enough for helping me and making me smile. You guys are the best."

I told them anyway. Because it's true. If It wasn't for them,I would still be sobbing my eyes out. Even though I still do,and I still am gonna until I get Yamato back,but for the time being,

They mean the world to me.
